I am 60yo and have been a coffee drinker for 45 years. For the last 10+- years I've been a Folgers Black Silk drinker ans still love it too. But the price hike in coffee led me to try...........Chock Full o’Nuts ------>New York Roast<------ and I loved it right away. The NY Roast is FABULOUS! Deep, strong and flavorful............. and cheap!When I seek a regular cup-o-joe..... this is my go to coffee. AND... every morning I make fancy coffee by grinding Sumatran beans and steeping them in a french press. So if you think Chock Full o’Nuts or the like is below snobby coffees.... think again. I've become a bit of a coffee snob over the years and found this quite by accident and because I'm familiar with the name and the great price, decided to try it. The taste is mellow and not acidic tasting & I tend to use more than the recommended amount as I only have two cups in the morning and no more during the day. It woke me up just great and I was not over caffeinated and didn't have that slump when it wore off. I'll order it again and recommend it to anyone.

Grew up with this coffee and enjoying it still 40 years later! Currently not available in my area outside amazon! Just my 2 cents which has nothing to do with the product. Sometimes the tin arrives dented but still sealed? But following what Dad used to do? I always keep a spare can on the side!

An oldie, but a goody! My husband swears by Choc Full O’Nuts coffee for its flavor and low acid. He has an ulcer that only becomes agitated if he drinks certain coffees or too much coffee. We’ve tried tons of different brands and this is only one that doesn’t irritate his stomach (in moderation), but is almost impossible to find anymore in stores where we live. Amazon comes thru again (Yay) and delivery was next day with Prime. Can’t beat the price either! We’ve paid as much as $20/pound for other coffees that he couldn’t drink and this is still our favorite! Thanks Amazon!

The stores in my area only carry the Medium Roast so when I saw the selection available on Amazon I had to try the Dark/New York Roast! It’s Very flavorful and aromatic!

I grew up with this coffee. My parents almost always bought this brand and it still haas the same smell and taste that I remember. And the price is pretty reasonable. I ground my own coffee for years and bought a can of this to have on hand in case I ran out of beans, which is exactly what happened. So I used this and really liked it. I'll keep ordering. And one other thing, I think the grind is nice as far as the coarseness.

We like dark coffee and typically purchase some of the premium brands dark roasts when they are on sale. Gave this a try. It's good, but does not have the flavor profile of the premium brand's dark roasts. It's a good value for the money and definitely better than the regular roasts from the big brands in cans.

I have tried several different cheaper coffees, and this one ranks a pinch above average in terms of flavor compared to other brands. I will continue repurchasing this coffee, but I must rotate it with other brands since the taste sometimes I get tired of it, especially when I get near the bottom of the can.

Bought for my Dad for Xmas, 25 years since he left America and the smile on his face when he saw it. He says its as nice now as it was then so thumbs up
