Nitecore MH11 USB-C Rechargeable EDC Flashlight, 1000 Lumen with LumenTac Battery Organizer

This little guy is really, really bright on highest setting. First light I can honestly say would blind someone if aimed at their eyes. Seems well made. I imagine battery life is not going to be great if I use that "Get that out of my face!" setting.

I wanted a basic EDC. something that turns on from the a tail button without a lot of bells and whistles. This flashlight ticks all the boxes for me, HOWEVER, this flashlight came with a USB-C cable. Odd, most everyone has one. But turns out there's a reason. It's the only cable that actually works to charge this little guy. I have a half dozen different USB-C cables around the house and only one of them almost worked - the charging light flickered for a second. From what I can tell, this USB-C port may be a bit too deep into the flashlight body. The cable that came with the flashlight has a connector that is a miniscule bit longer than the average cable. I nearly returned it for that reason. USB-C is an industry standard connector. Maybe Nitecore didn't get the memo. Maybe its for the IP68 rating. It's a downer for sure cause I better never lose this cable that came with it.

I have several different Nitecore flashlights. They are bright, high quality, and have variable settings. This one is on par with the rest. Great light!

So glad I purchased this. My job requires both insanely bright, as well as very dim light best purchase I've made outside of my Klein screwdrivers.... I lost it on new years eve. I was bummed, immediately ordered a new one
