Lavender Essential Oil - Miracle Essential Oils

Judging by the fact that every review posted here is by someone who received the oil in exchange for their supposedly honest reviews, it seems that that incentive must dull your senses a little. I didn't receive anything--in fact, I didn't even buy this oil from Amazon at all. I bought it straight from the Miracle website via an advertisement on a Pinterest link that promised "any Miracle Essential Oils blend for $1!" And, it was true--I got a bottle of Digest for a $1, and was even enticed into buying 3 other bottles of single oils at a discounted rate offered me in the checkout process. All in all, 4 bottles of oil, a roller bottle, and a sprayer bottle for right about $25--a steal. When I opened the box (which did arrive about a week late), it was all very nicely and attractively packaged and looked so promising! I opened the first bottle (lavender) and smelled--and immediately closed it again. I've owned multiple different lavender EO's from multiple companies, but this smelled absolutely nothing like any lavender I'd ever smelled. It had this rancid, chemically smell and not much else to it. Next bottle (ginger), same exact thing. Next bottle (sandalwood), same exact thing. Last bottle (Digest), same exact thing. All slightly different variations on that rancid, chemically smell. I've diffused them, blended them--nothing. They all smell just awful and make my stomach a little queasy. Guess you get what you pay for. I'm not an EO newbie--I have a fairly large collection and have been using them for years--I know the difference between small variations in oils and just a plain bad oil. Unfortunately, these are just plain bad oils. I decided to post this review to warn others who, like me, often rely on other's reviews to make sure that their hard-earned money isn't going to go to waste. Don't make the same mistake I did.

My sister has been after me for a long time trying to get me hooked up with essential oils. When I received this product offer, I jumped at the chance to try it out. Here's my takeaway. I mix a few drops up with a carrier oil and rub it on my kids feet or back at night. I have diffused it as well. It smells clean and fresh and the kids seem to enjoy the smell. Am I completely "sold" on the whole aromatherapy thing? Not completely. But this was delivered quickly and packaged nicely, and was a full bottle. I ordered another set from another company at the same time and over half of the bottles weren't full. And my kids enjoy the massage at bedtime. I would recommend this product to my friends and family. I received this product at a discounted price or free in return for my honest review. I tto was totally dissatisfied with this oil. I put 4 drops on a washcloth and thinking it would help my wife sleep. When I got into bed she said " you stink". It wasn't me, it was the supposed lavender. We have a lavender tree and it smells nothing like it.Will try to get refund.

Product has an amazing smell and seems to be 100% pure lavender oil. I did use it on my skin and in an oil diffuser with great results. Seems like a fantastic deal for the price! I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
