Quite surprising
There was no sex in this book until almost the end but I loved the story. These authors never disappoint me. This was a lovely story about Declan, Molly and Will. A love triangle, although the members of it didn't realise who was in love with whom. Of course, it had the right ending.

A really great story
Not Pretending Anymore is a really great book. I was hooked from the start and did not want it to end. It's a sweet, funny and emotional story. Molly and Declan are both great characters. I absolutely loved the story and would definitely recommend it!

A sweet and heart warming romance.
Reviewing on behalf of Relentless Book Chics Ramblings and ReviewsA sweet and heart warming romance.I’m a huge fan of these authors and when I read the blurb for this; I couldn’t wait to read it.Molly is a nurse and living in Chicago is expensive so she always has a roommate to help pay the rent. When her previous one moved out and the applicants to replace her weren’t suitable, the only one who had potential had a major flaw, he was a man.Declan is only in Chicago for 6 months for work and needs somewhere to live. He sees somewhere great but Molly is adamant she only wants a female roommate. As usual, his personality, charm and baking skills win her over and as they get into a routine, their friendship flourishes.Declan has a crush on a woman at work and Molly also has a crush on someone she works with and together they devise a plan to get the people they want to date interested in them by pretending to date each other. As their plan begins working, Molly and Declan both realise that what they thought they wanted, isn’t what they want now. When Declan has to leave Chicago for a few months, Molly is still dating her dishy doctor but a tragedy that leaves her devastated brings Declan home. When Molly is reunited with Declan she begins to question what she truly wants in her life, is it the doctor she’s meant to be with or is it her roommate that has her heart?I really enjoyed this story. Declan and Molly are so much fun and are both equally great characters. There were a few twists in the story and for most of the book you just want to give Declan a hug. There were some great side characters and it would be good to get their stories in the future. I would definitely recommend this book and all previous books by these authors.

Loved this slow burn!!!
“Maybe you should lock your door tonight. That margarita really went to my head.”“You too, babe. You too.”*claps* this author duo goes and does it again. I've yet again read their new book and gone and fallen in love with the hero. Damn my list is getting so big. Haha but I'm not complaining.So... Molly is looking for a female roommate and she's already interviewed quite a few lol. But the next one she see is actually a male and he didn't put his full name down. She's dead set on wanting the new roommate to be female because she likes to do things around the house and doesn't want to have a male around. But Declan's all I cook and I know how to treat women as I have 4 sisters and I'm the youngest. But Molly isn't having any of it. But when a few days later and still looking for a roommate she gets a box with a note on from Declan and in the box are cupcakes with words on them. They seal the deal and she tells him he can have the room.Declan like the woman he's liked for ages who he works with but she's got a boyfriend. Molly likes a guy who she worked with for ages and is recently single. So they both cook up a plan to be all flirty with each other to make the people they like jealous. And it works. Until Declan starts to like Molly and Molly starts to like Declan....I can't even put into words how much I loved this book. The story was beautiful, pulled at the heartstrings, swoony, funny and emotional. I was either laughing, giggling, swooning or crying sad and then happy tears.I love Declan and Molly. They both have a piece of my heart xx

This is Love !!!
Declan & Molly instantly stole my heart. She wanted a female room mate, she got Declan and oh my i am so so happy she did!!!Right from the word go, this couple totally fitted each other, like bread & Butter, Vodka & Coke!! Their banter just had me glued for what witty comeback would come next and with each page my heart fell all the harder. Both had "Crushes" on other people, but they soon became insignificant to me as my heart was truly only wanting the outcome of Molly and Declan. My mind was busy busy telling them to give up on those crushes !! Look at each other !!!This book had it all, fun, emotion, family sorrows and i literally couldn't put it down. Brilliantly written, that not so gently leads us through their inner confusions and uncertainties. This is a romance, with all the feels, and absolutely tears at all your emotions without an over play of drama, just prefect gut wrenching emotion and a silver lining of Love !!!

Sweet, Slow Burn💞
Ahh what a fantastically sweet, slow burn romance.I just loved Declan and Molly.... their friendship was a joy to read and when they finally got themselves sorted they were a perfect match!Declan’s heart is so big, he is the breath of fresh air that Molly needs in her life and also the unconditional strength when things take a turn....Molly is a safe place for Declan, someone he trusts and can offer him the understanding and stability that he needs, whilst giving him his space.Their journey isn’t without its bumps or heartache and as they both realise that they aren’t pretending anymore have they got the courage to take the next step and who will be the one to take it first...I especially appreciated the real life situations in this story... I always enjoy the writing of this duo and Declan and Molly’s story is no exception.
