Games Workshop Citadel Pot de Peinture - Technical Soulstone Blue (12ml)

I like using citadel paints, the have good coverage and quite the range of color. I've been trying along of these technical paints that the company is pushing out, convenient as all hell really. People used to mix the paint to do all this. It was just kinda something they learned in time, passed on knowledge from friends. Like putting rust on your armor was taking all these different reds browns and orange paints, mixing then thinning them to separate the pigment. It would set to give a rusted look and your miniature had a sweet traveled look. Now its all packed in a bottle, ready to go.Now you have this, it a quick why to make your stones and such pop on your minis. Good for beginners or to save alot of time, but basic. Its not to be used by its self, cause then it would just be blue. Gotta at a complementing shiny metallic coat of pant to the area first, then a thick, smooth coat of this. Its like a gel paint, thick and translucent so is you have a black under you get nothing. Silvers, golds, they work.So experiment with that, dont thing this bottle will do all the work for you or you'll end up feeling like you wasted money. And if you can look up was to mix these technicals yourself. You can and you'll appreciate the time these save or ditch them all together cause you are just paying extra for the sake of convenience anyway.
