A good book for beginners
'My better half Forever' by Arushi Vats is a soleful story of Malvika and Rahul who fall in love with each other. It is an interesting read for all romance readers. Malvika and Rahul met in college. Although they are complete opposites to each other, Rahul still finds himself attracted towards her. Their pain of losing some beloved unites their hearts. While Malvika lost her brother and she is still overcoming this loss and undergoes panic attacks and anxiety, Rahul deals with the loss of his father who was his true friend, mentor and guardian. Both eventually fall in love but things become haywire with Rahul moving to London settling with a job. 'My better half forever' is a story of family, love , loss and the author merges these significant emotions quite lucidly. I really liked the simplicity of narration in the storytelling and the build of the story. For the readers who read this book would definitely say that both the characters are drawn and sketched from reality and you would quickly adore their development. The book gives all the feels of home and family and friendship that makes you feel warm. The book has a pretty slow pace and an unnecessary description that makes the reading experience on and off mundane. with a simple and lucid language it is the perfect book for beginners. The story is nice but not attractive or different. I expected more connection to the characters that could have felt real. It was a good one time read but it wasn't new. I would still appreciate the author for the creativity and ideas she has used in the book.
