The good, the bad and the ugly:The Good: Flat cable is to die for. Runs easily under carpet and some types of trim that simply can’t be done with round cable. Doing my homework prior to purchase, the reviews on Cat 7 cables varied, mostly due to advice that centered several brands not having the standard RJ45 connection, although these did. There are other brands that offered flat cables, but I didn't notice any that were competitive with these.While I do have concerns about whether this brand actually supports Cat 8—see the additional comments below—the competitors offering Cat 8 neither had flat cable nor were competitively priced. I’m taking a chance on how much this cable will actually deliver Cat 8 performance and how long before I would need more enhanced cable but in terms of cost-benefit analysis, these cables were too good not to take into careful consideration.The Bad: Could have had more cable staples. It’s good that they were even included, so I’ll give ‘em credit for that. The run was in a crawl space, which I always suspend the application. The flat cable did slide easily once the OEM staple was driven in, but I had to dip into a competitor brand that I had to make sure that the staple didn’t go in too tight on the cable. Just a few more staples would have ensured both a more uniform suspension and ease of slightly shifting the line if necessary.You may not need cable staples with your application, but if you do, make sure you even them out to determine if you have enough. You may like a tighter clamp on cable suspension but between wanting to still move the cable after suspension and not wanting too tight of a clamp on flat cable, then you may wish to plan accordingly.The Ugly: The cable is advertised as “Cat 8/Cat 7,” but the stamp on the cable itself clearly states “Cat 7.” The ad does state “Supports Cat 8/Cat 7,” but I find that statement rather suspect. Is it Cat 7 or Cat 8? Cat 7 has different specs than Cat 8, including limitations on length for the best efficiency for Cat 8. If it was Cat 8 capable, wouldn’t they just market it as Cat 8?If you’re like me, you only want to run cable once and have infrastructure already in place to be ready for even faster tech in the future. That’s not to mention only having to run cable once and be done with it for awhile. With my current fiber package, this cable is doing just fine. I did try to choose carefully with future needs in mind. Yet, I am fully aware that I am taking the chance that if the advertised claim doesn’t live up to the hype of “supporting Cat 8” in the future, then it will be too late to write a review about it.

I bought this Ethernet cord as I needed a cat-7 cord to reach from my router to my kids Xbox on another floor. Was more than long enough and came wrapped well. I was even able to use the pre used wrap to rewrap the excess cord to made cable management even neater.

As soon as I connected it, the wire started to get really hot and the ethernet ends started to melt. I only realized after picking up a weird odor after I plugged it it in. I quickly unplugged it to prevent further damage. The wire is toast as seen from the images attached. It is either defective or the quality is very low.Update, the seller contacted me and refunded the amount and a gift was included. The review was updates for professionalism and customer service

Seems to be working fine.Doubt these are actually anything other than Cat 5e cables, but that is all I need lol.

Works well for running Ethernet in tight spaces. I use mine for a Poe camera!

When you can't get wires under your home you can use this type of FLAT CABLE to run under carpet and doors. They make speaker wire flat also

Laut Beschreibung sollte das LAN Kabel 5 Meter lang sein. In Wirklichkeit sind es gerade mal 4.5 Meter.Es scheint kein Zufall zu sein sondern normal zu sein, da ein anderer Kunde das auch schon bemängelt hat.Naja nie wieder und eine klare Warnung ⛔️In meinen Augen 👀 ist das schon vorsätzlicher Betrug

Das eine Kabel hat 4,50, das andere 4,60 Meter. Das ist Betrug am Kunden. Und unnötiges Hin- und Hersenden.

Compré 3 unidades de 5 metros y en principio todo bien, se notan unos buenos conectores con acabado metálico que es de agradecer. Pero al poner los cables me parecieron cortos y así fue. Al medirlos, dieron una medida de 454 centímetros . Tenedlo en cuenta por si vais algo justos.Edito: Al leer la valoración, la atención al cliente se ha puesto en contacto conmigo y la razón que me dieron es que la conversión del sistema imperial al métrico no se ha hecho bien. Así que me han reemplazado el cable por otro que sí da la medida anunciada, por lo que lo recomiendo. Cable y conectores que aparentan ser de calidad.

el largo es correcto así como el colono le puedo dar las 5 estrellas porque el sistema de conexion al puerto dispone de una extension de plástico de seguridad para mantener fijada la conexion y para desconectarla del puerto solo que hay que hundirla toda para desconectarla lo que es un infierno en equipos con rejillas anticalor o si tiene muchos otras conexiones, lo que obliga a un major esfuerzo al extraerlo con el consiguiente riesgo de dañar al conector y tener que comprar otro, que por supuesto seria de otra marca, aparte es muy bien construido ,creo que va a ser duradero y transmite los 600 fenomenal
