I use this product to kill the moss in my lawn and harden and green up the grass. The grass suffered during the long hot summer then in the winter the rain never seem to stop which encouraged the moss to a point it was difficult to walk across the lawn it was like a sponge. March i scarified the lawn then in a dry spell sprayed it 25g per litre just wetting the lawn over all in hours the moss started to darken. Two days and the moss had been killed and the grass greened up and has picked up and shown signs of growth.

Great product at good price

I've used Iron Sulphate as a Moss killer and for Rhododendron pick-up for years : it works well.But : when dissolving into the water, in cold or warm, this product/brand left an amount as solid "sand" - which clogged the spray of the water-can, with a lot of bad language !I had to dissolve a bucket full with hot water, and then put it through a filter before spraying.

Moss went black in 24 hours, raked out 5 day later.

Highly recommended to others. Does what it's meant to do. Fast acting and very powerful at killing moss. Grass was a lot greener after a few days. Can be applied in powder form, or diluted with water.My only advice is - when applying diluted, it's best to use a plastic watering can or sprayer, as any type of metal watering can or sprayer will corrode; also, keep away from lightly coloured slabs, as they can get stained by the product.

After using nitrogen early on this year to feed grass ,I then fed it with phostrogen and now iron sulphate use sparingly as too much will not be good for grass . The effects are outstanding and now have a thick luscious dark green all over lawn

I liked this one because it was just to desolve in hot water and pour with a watering can. Much easier than the powdered sulphur of iron which gets on your clothes and staines the pebbles yellow. Will buy again
