BITWATCH replaces a FitBit!
I bought the BITWATCH to help me with my walking and keeping track of my activity each day. I read that the battery will last about 5 days, and so far I am into the third week after doing a full charge and it still more than 50% charged and ready to go for another two or more weeks. I used the app on my iphone and found it to give good information, and although it probably could be enhanced to be easier to use and watch your data, but it was more than usable just as it currently is designed. I found the charger a little awkward, but it is easier than removing a battery as in the fit tracker which I sent off to my sister to use. I found the band part to be kind of cheap, and attracts dirt and hard to clean and keep clean. I am still very pleased with the results of the watch as it does exactly as I need it to do. I was expecting it to also keep track of my heart rate and BP, which it does not do, unless I am missing something in the process of using the app. I do though recommend the unit if you need a pedometer to place on your wrist as a help in tracking your activity.Randy

Good Entry Level Track
I used to be a powerlifter and in really in shape. Fast forward several years, a kid, two degrees, and a career later; I was overweight and needing to get back into fitness. I chose the cardio route first to ease my way back in, beginning with walking and hiking. I used my iPhone's health app to track my steps, but I ordered this tracker to get a more accurate depiction of steps when my phone wasn't on me.I chose to go with this tracker because I wasn't ready to pony up for a fit bit. I chose this one as well because the app it uses is better than other trackers app in this price range. This tracker does keep great and accurate count of your steps taken, but it does not up date your apple health app, or under armor app (the two I use to track my stuff). Even after syncing everything with the trackers app, nothing translates outside of its app, even though it prompts you to date info with the health app (which would auto update the UA app). It is a pretty touch tracker. I've beat it up some and showered in it. I haven't submerged it. Seller says 7-10 days of battery life, but I've had it over a month and I don't use it for anything, I may occasionally look at the time, but I've never had to charge it outside of the initial charging when opening it. Great battery life.Over all this is a great entry level tracker. Four stars for not updating the apple app like it suggests it will; and that's the only con. Battery life is dependent on your use. I havent hx to charge mine in over a month.

Great design & function when inside! Can't read it outdoors.
Beautiful design! Easy to read when inside. It counts steps & distance pretty well. I love the fact that it has a date & time so you don't need to wear a watch in addition to wearing this. The software seemed nice. Inside, it was perfect, but outside I could not read the watch at all. Even in the shade, it was almost impossible to read. Most of my walking is outdoors & I need to check on the time, distance & steps on the walk. So that was the deal breaker. It works for inside workouts, for a gym, or if you can just wait until you get back inside to read the watch. I loved the Bitwatch otherwise. For the price, it is very well designed. If you don't need to look at the readout outside, this is a nice, far less expensive alternative to the FitBit.

I am so disappointed
I am very disappointed with this watch. At first I was very satisfied. It performed very well over all. My disappointment is reflected by the fact that the watch fell apart. The working part apparently became loose and fell out of the wrist band. Simply speaking I glanced at it and realized that sometime during the day the face apparently fell out. I have no idea when and where. I think that part of the problem is that the watch was so inexpensive. You get what you pay for. Besides the face falling out I think the watch performed very well.

Lasted 18 months before I lost it!
I had one for 18 months. It counted my steps. If it was connected to my phone, it would notify my of calls or texts. It did what it was supposed to do at a fraction of the cost of other fitness bands. The only problem I had with it read the band. The first one broke after about 6 months. The second one worked great fur a year, but recently stated to get lose. The tracker fell out and is now lost. But 18 mouths for the price I paid. Totally with it!

I would certainly recommend it to others
I've had this a few days now. I bought it primarily for the sleep tracking feature which seems to work quite well (once I figured out independently what their tracking meant - not much in the way of instructions). I have compared it to other people's more expensive fitness monitors and I'm impressed that mine is comparable - and a lot cheaper. Can't beat it at $25. I would certainly recommend it to others. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is because I don't know about it's longevity yet.

BITWatch is a good product for the money
BITWatch is a good product for the money. But here are the Pro and ConsPro: Very easy to set up and fast to chargeCons: It does not count steps and calories properly. I know that because I used my friends fitbit to compare. The belt is itchy and very old looking. Not easy to clean data in app.Overall, it is a good gadget but does not serve the purpose as you expect. I will be returning this and may be getting fitbit.

Doesn't last for more than a year, designed to fail.
I purchased this product a little over a year ago, I honestly wasn't very impressed with the app. And the overall quality looked cheap, especially compared to other fitness devices that I've used previously. But, I used it anyway because of its slim design and it fit my small wrist well. I made sure to take it off before showers or doing dishes. Today I tried to charge it, and it won't power on at all. I'll be buying a different device this time around.
