has a better grip on the ears than the original ones.original buds are very soft to the ears but are very loose (you can lose them anytime you remove them, you can't even notice when they falls.. too soft and lite ).these buds are a little hard in comparison and you will feel a little discomfort transitioning from the originals. but they are not that hard. bearable. plus you are getting a good grip!previously I bought YTM buds, plz don't buy them. Your ears will hurt the same day after a few hours.
