Lenny's Back!
Delighted to have my copies of this eagerly awaited sequel. This time Lenny the Lemur is on the hunt for a piddle puddle perpetrator. The illustrations by Nicola O'Byrne are gorgeous, and the story is delightfully written and full of facts. Between the Lenny books and the heartbreaking beautiful The Tide and The Perfect Shelter, Clare Helen Welsh is rapidly staking a claim as one of the finest authors of picture books around.

Beautifully illustrated and written for young children
The book is excellent for young children I would say from about 4 years old. Beautifully written and illustrated to engage them. Unfortunately it was not suitable for my grandson who is 7

This is a fab sequel. I love the fact that it has a gentle story but it's also non-fiction is style. I can't wait to read it to my class!

A brilliantly funny follow up to 'Poo! Is that you?'
Lenny returns in the second of this fantastic series by Clare Helen Welsh and Nicola O'Bryne. This time, Lenny the Lemur is on a springtime holiday in Alaska when he slips in a puddle of something yellow and smelly. Setting off to find the culprit, Lenny meets a host of creatures all with interesting wee habits, designed to help them live successfully in their natural habitats. Clare's blend of education and humour once again works perfectly and laughing out loud is guaranteed! There is a delightful, almost slap stick feel to the story in places and Nicola's illustrations once more bring each scene to life with wonderful, bright and energetic pictures. As with the first book in the series, there is an end spread giving some facts, mixed with humour, about each of the creatures Lenny has encountered - beaver wee biscuits being my favourite. A must read!
