Review: Women and Smaller Framed Men Would Benefit From Training in This Self-Defense Program - There are a lot of good techniques in this program that women and smaller framed men would benefit from learning. Hapkido relies more on leverage moves, joints locks and pressure points than other martial arts, and hence give women and smaller framed males an advantage when defending themselves that they otherwise wouldn't have. The techniques are shown fairly clearly, although some specific areas should have shown close-ups of the precise hand manipulations to show exactly how to make the technique work. Also, some techniques are shown quite a few times, while the instructor mentions other techniques that are not shown that might have been beneficial for students to learn. He also references techniques that could address some situations, but then doesn't show them, which leads me to believe that he intends to make another training video, but I haven't found another one (if you know of any other Hapkido DVD's by this instructor, please let me know). All in all, it's worth the money if buyers actually train and practice the techniques.

There are a lot of good techniques in this program that women and smaller framed men would benefit from learning.
