Yes all of the braces can be worn directly on the body. In that is essential to having the best support. However lI would buy this item. I returned mine. Reasons. See my review.

Can anyone wear it directly on the skin, and not get an itchy rash from it like me?

The brace was uncomfortable on bare skin. It also did not fit correctly. It moved around alot. It did not work for me.
