Bought for roasting marshmallows. Was a bit nervous with kids eating off them as they are so sharp, but with a bit of care all was fine and they served our purpose. Now to figure out how to store safely because the plastic tops they came with aren’t really fitted enough to stay on in a drawer and fall straight off!

Use them when we go away, brilliant for kebabs, also to cook sausages without burning hands

It's a real pity that these are not a little thicker as they feel quite flimsy, but they do the job they are meant to do.The points are ridiculously sharp and could cause serious injury if left immersed in a washing bowl and forgotten about until you find one by impaling your finger. Because they are flat, food doesn't spin around as you try to turn them on a BBQ or under an oven grill

I appreciate skewers need to be sharp but these are unnecessarily too sharp. They have a small plastic cap on each but sooner or later that cap has to come off and the skewer becomes a dangerous item. Far too flimsy and prone to bending. I chose wrong and cheaply so will not be using these. Have already replaced them with longer, thicker and a wider flat version - with wooden handles! Buyers BEWARE!
