Nice Design, Bad Construction Quality
While I like the design of this box, the actual execution of the construction is not great once you actually open it and take a look inside. Mine has uneven gaps when closed and edges that don't line up on the inside, and the interior portion where the pen goes is extremely rough an gave me a small splinter--not really the kind of surface I want a nice pen in contact with. I can only smooth it out so much with sandpaper, since I don't have anything that will get down into the part where the pen sits, so I'm not really sure what I will be doing with this pen holder until I can make it safer for a nice pen.

I cannot recommend this product
I cannot recommend this product. The quality of the workmanship is terrible. It has the feel of being made by someone who has never taken a shop class and does not care enough to finish it properly. The worst aspects are anot unfinished, rough drill hole for the pen and no notching of any kind to facilitate opening.Extremely poor workmanship

Great for fountain pens
I bought this for my husband to use as a fountain pen holder and it did not disappoint! It is very well made and displays one of his fountain pens very nicely.

Love this box!
Great box. I got it to hold my Microsoft Pen. I have been carrying around a digital pen for awhile, and I'm always banging the tip and needing to replace it. I wanted something with style to carry it around, and when I'm not using it, it keeps the pen at hand in a cute display.

Wonderful handcrafted gift box.
My mother love the pin box where I placed a vintage waterman fountain pen into it. The craftsmanship was OK there were some irregularities in the finish that gave it a home hand craft feel to it. This is not a bad thing, it's just not a polished product.

Great product
I like this pen holde. Just right for desktop display. It was a little rough, or unfinished on the inside, but a little contact with some sandpaper took care of that.
