Accurate and reasonably hard. Not for harder or thicker metals.
They are accurate in construction and work fine in my pillar drill for making positioning holes in 1/8th" aluminum, brass and hard woods. They did not stay sharp for long (for hss) and I don't think they would last very long in mild steel.

happy with them.
I have only used one of them so far but it was very sharp and cut very well. For the novice machinist out there, keep the speed slow and and keep the bit cool, take your time and you should be able to drill the hole you need. This was a great bit to start the hole in the spot I wanted without any of the flex from a long drill bit that you normally will get.

As described. Seems well made
I haven't used them yet. The tools seem well made, sharp, and well finished on a quick initial look.

Adequate but definitely not high quality
I work with some of the best machinists in aerospace and I dabble in metal work myself so I know what quality bits should be like. You can definitely tell these are not high quality. The surface finish of the grind is rough. The point is not centered for at least one of the bits and that makes my drill press shake.Having said that, so far they work for what I want them to do. I'm not making aerospace parts with these; I'm making things in my garage. If you need high quality bits, get something else. If you're just making basic holes, these work.

Well made and function well.
These are well built and cut clean pilot holes for centers on a lathe, starter holes for larger drill bits.

Decent bit
I did not buy thees for their intended use. I use center bits for starting a pilot hole in certain metals, wherea regular twisted bit tends to bend a little when first started causing some inaccuracy problems, especially with thin sheet metal. Otherwise, these bits do my job for me.
