We have a summer home in Long island, NY. We get bees when we try and eat on our patio, and my wife is allergic. I looked for a while over the summer on Amazon, but a lot of the reviews on the zappers were mixed. i have found that the low priced alternatives on Amazon are usually not worth it, so i wanted to find something that worked, even if it cost a bit more. i bought the wonder Zap about a month ago and as very pleased. i was concerned about three things-- whether the unit would be of poor quality and fall apart, whether it was easy to accidentally zap yourself, and whether it could kill bees with one zap. The quality is good, you have to turn the battery on and the press a button to activate the zapper, so there is little or no risk of accidentally zapping yourself. It works great, I have killed about 6 bees and one yellow jacket, plus a few mosquitos, and it takes only one zap to do the job. The racket is well designed and easy to use. I am very pleased

“I got the zapper and it works great! It replaced the executioner pro that I've used for a long time. The executioner still works but it has been benched as a back-up. I use the zappers mainly for wasps and yellow jackets that bother the hummingbirds. These are a lot tougher than flies and gnats. One zap may not kill them right out but you can fry them if you keep pushing the button. Or, I just get them on the ground and step on them. It is the best I've used and I've used zappers for a long time. Great product. Thanks!”

This thing is absolutely awesome! My parents in law had one of these at their house and the kids had a blast at the last cookout swinging away at bugs, even getting ants with it so when I had the chance I jumped at the opportunity to get one for our house. We have used it indoors and out and absolutely love it! Although it is shaped like a tennis racket there really is no need to swing it like one (lol) just holding it up in the air snaps those little buggies right outta here! As I'm writing this my husband used it to get a moth in the house!! It does make a spark and snap sound and it is recommended not to touch the metal part which is constantly reminded to my children when they are using it but they love using it during bonfires with the mosquitoes! Durable and sporty, very good feel in the hand. Super pleased, well worth it!! I purchased this at a discount in return for my honest unbiased review.

This is high-powered, no joke. I use it to kill bird seed moths and spiders. There is no chance of survival for them with this racket. The zap is always very loud and convincing. Sometimes they explode into pieces I've owned a few other bug zap rackets, but they were nowhere near this strong. I haven't shocked myself yet and am frankly very scared of doing it - they have an on/off switch on top of the actual trigger button to help prevent just that from happening. The light is a bonus feature that is a pretty powerful LED. Overall the construction of this racket is vastly superior to any other one I've owned or seen.

Unit works as advertised. On the first day I was able to "zap" three of the borer bees that have been nesting in our log home. Time will tell how many more flying pests will be neutralized. Unit is also well constructed and solid.

This thing is a beast!I have had several tennis racket style zappers from other companies over the years that were flimsy, broke and slowly electrocuted the pests making it easy for them to get away.This bad boy will not break at the neck, it's one piece and very heavy duty.It is so powerful that the pesky flies literally BLOW UP and Disintegrate on contact with a satisfying loud electrical bang sound upon contact.Not for the faint of heart.It's fun to use on those well deserved pests.The light mode actually comes in handy too.My score to date is 52:1 only one lucky bug got away only because I was too slow.This will finally be the last one I buy

This is a great product for mosquito season here in FL. I did lots of research on hand-held electronic swatters and this one ranked #1. I can see why. It's durable, easy to use and highly effective. We're just starting to use it week one, but it's already improved quality of life, enabling us to instantly get rid of those nasty (and potentially dangerous) mosquitos! Great product!

Three stars to say that everything resolved well and is now O.K. after corresponding with Great Value SG. After ordering two rackets, I learned that The Wonder Zap was not a match for my needs. Customer service was prompt, courteous and professional.
