Kiera Grace Design Ceramic Lotion Dispenser, Espresso

Pros: Large capacity, easy to use, easy to fill, and attractive design. The base is sturdy and the design blends with almost any decor.Cons: The tip of the pump is rusting after only 3 months of use. The pump itself is difficult to use with wet hands (they slide right off the domed top). The tip of the pump is so small that only gel soap will work - anything with odd ingredients (such as triclosan beads for example) will not work or will gum up the works.I bought three of these for each bathroom. The rush issue is a little frustrating, but I can keep the tips dry and head that off. I would say that if you can deal with the rust and the maintenance it requires to keep it at bay, it's not a bad soap dispenser. But honestly - for what I paid, I kinda feel the maintenance is a burden. Your run-of-the-mill plastic pump wouldn't suffer the same issue and it would be a small thing to head this off before the consumer had to deal with it.

Ignoring the negative reviews, I ordered three of these and hoped for the best. After almost a year of use, two of them are still going strong and look/work just as perfectly as the day I got them. One of them, however, had its nozzle snap off and therefore became completely useless. I'm guessing that just some of these are defective due to the fact that other reviews state rather intensely that theirs broke quickly. As for me, the two that are still working are really great. The color of the ceramic is a true dark brown that is very much espresso but not too black and looks wonderful. The nozzle has just the right amount of resistance in the spring when you push it down and dispenses a perfect amount of soap. Honestly, for the price I'm very pleased with these and they do look much more expensive than they are. I'd recommend them and would buy them again but I suggest looking closely at it when it arrives and testing it out in case the one you receive is one of the duds.

These dispensers look great! The caps are plastic, but look good and I'm not willing to spend $70 just to have stainless steel caps on my freaking soap dispenser. :DThe only reason they don't get 5 stars is because the hole at the top is a bit of a pain to get product into. Liquid soap isn't really a problem. However, I bought a second dispenser for lotion and getting the lotion in the small hole on top is a real pain. It would have been nice if there was a bigger hole on the bottom of the dispenser with a rubber gasket closing it up. Yes, I know that is very picky, but it would be nice.

It was surprisingly hard for me to find a soap dispenser (I'm using it for liquid soap, not lotion) that was black with brushed nickel, so I didn't have many choices. Unlike what was indicated by other reviewers, this was true black and was packaged VERY carefully so it came with no dings. The unit being tall holds a large quantity, which is fine, but it does make it a bit top-heavy.Also, I had to put silicone pads on the bottom of this unit. It comes with no padding or felt on the bottom, and it would scratch most bathroom countertops unless pads are added.

The nozzle on this hand soap dispenser shows signs of rust after only a few weeks of use. I thought that if I just took care of these items by wiping them down carefully, being in a kid-free home, and keeping the abuse to a minimum that I wouldn't be disappointed, but I was wrong. It really is rather unacceptable that the dispenser parts be rusting only a few weeks in my home. I'm so incredibly disappointed.The dispenser still operates smoothly. It can be easily filled. It's just cheaply made. Terrible materials.

The Nuvo Design Ceramic Dispenser is very nice except there is a micro-crack running down the side of it which I did not notice until after I put soap in it and every few days I noticed the soap creating a fine line on the side because it was slowly leaking through.

I received a dispenser that had "inner dimpling" on the side of the unit, so I returned it for an exchange. (Amazon provided a credit, instead of an exchange, but when I emailed them, they told me to place another order, and provide the order number so they could waive the shipping of the second unit. The second unit was shipped overnight, at Amazon's expense. I thought this was great customer service.)Second dispenser received, and it, too, has "outter dimpling." I know this thing doesn't cost much, but I think it should be perfect quality. I didn't bother ordering a third dispenser.

I liked the look of this dispenser and while a few reviewers did mention the size I thought ceramic and chrome a post modern style whats not to love? Well they are huge! If you have the space great. I wish I had opted for something a bit smaller. Not a bad buy though, good quality but this is not for a small vanity.

We are happy with it. It fits nicely with the design of our bathroom.

It fell apart so quickly after I got it. The assembly for the pump fell apart, now every time I go to pump soap the little nozzle falls off. It is such a shame that this is trash since it has a very nice body. Never have I seen a pump you can take apart. Do not buy this, totally not worth any money.

Just what I wanted. Good function and design.
