Perfect gift for those that love skateboarding
My grandsons loved these. I purchased 3 of them so that my grandsons can put them together and learn the ins and outs of what goes into a skateboard. They loved that now they can change the trucks, wheels and grip tape on any board and I think it makes it even more special and fun because they built their own board. This is a great project for parents to help their kids and build something together. Nothing beats quality time and the memories will last forever!

Grip tape was rolled up had to put something on it for an hour or two to flatten out. other then that its everything described. good starter board for a 15 year old.

Great board but trucks are not great
The media could not be loaded. The board is great and the are not and everything is great but the bearings are ok. Trucks (havoc) wheels ( Tgm I think) bearings (abec 3) hardware (tgm) deck (moose skateboards) grip tape ( black Diamond)

Solid buy
Just buy it. You can't beat the price for this board and what it comes with. I priced it out with everything came with and came up with $80+ so for $50 with free shipping it's a no brainer. As for quality? Well if your sticking rail slides from two flights of steps. Repeatedly. Then I'm not sure how well these trucks will hold up (and if you can do that I don't know why you'd be looking to buy kit this anyway) but for putting around town and warming the coping of your local skatepark now and then these will do nicely. The deck is good and stiff for me (I weigh in at 165) so no problems there. The grip is good and grippy. The bearings? While you could certainly buy better ones these are nice and smooth so i've got no quibbles about them. The wheels are generic but of a good quality. Mine came nice, round and true with no wobbles which can be an issue with cheep wheels (I took the graphics off with a bit of acetone for a nice cleaner look). They are little too soft for my taste for the skatepark but good for the street, over all a good compromise for working both....final words. If you're looking for your first board or a just a new one to bang around on you can't go wrong with this. While you could spend more money and get a better setup why would you need to? It's cheep and the parts are good quality for what your pay'n for.

Almost matches the photo
Everything was good but the grip tape had a logo on it unlike what is shown in the photos

Great basic board at a great price.
My son likes it and enjoyed putting it together himself. Perfect beginners/basic board. Works well on pavement/side walks.

Great for the price
Not the best of quality, but not bad for price. My son is not a hardcore skater, so unlikely he’s going to break it easily. I would not recommend for advanced skateboarding.
