This tool will save you $$$$
Great quality tool to have on hand for oil changes. One valuable lesson learned is that when refilling the crankcase with new oil, I suggest that you put only 13 qts. in even though specs indicate that 13.5 is basically full. That last little bit apparently pushed oil up into the dipstick tube and I got a high level alarm that led to the engine going into a decelerating/ slowdown controlled condition while I was driving on a local freeway. I then spent 2 hours tracking down an extraction oil pump ( thanks Walmart!) and removed about 1/2 - 3/4 of a quart of newly added oil thru the dipstick tube until I lost suction. Buttoned everything up and got back on the road without any further issues…..and no further alarm light on the dash instrument panel. I pass this somewhat long winded lesson learned on to everyone so that a scary event doesn’t happen to you while cruising along at 65 mph!

It was used to remove the oil filter cap on a 2014 Mercedes-Benz 3500 sprinter. Without this tool it would be rather difficult to remove this cap if not impossible. You may need a universal joint and a 6 inch extension to reach the cap but it fits tightly and is well-made!
