1 year review. Comfortable, warm, tough, and affordable.
I had bought these Dec. 2nd 2020 to replace a discontinued Redwing model that I had re-ordered for 16 straight years. I needed something a little lighter to replace it since my new job would still have me doing heavy duty diesel work. These Keenes are comfortable, I ordered the 10.5 wides, and immediately felt the relief. They are much lighter and do not require the hard wear in that Redwings do. They aren't as tall but still provide good support and the sole has great traction on oil and grease. After a year of 8+ hrs a weekday for a year, they're still comfy. For the cold you can see in the pictures that the inside has plenty of "fluff". The tounge has plenty of stuffing too, it's not just a heavy flap of leather. I did get this boot a little wet, but I never submerged it, and the sox stayed dry. During the summer it was very comfortable and breathed well. The pictures show the wear and tear from a year of use, especially in the sole. You can see where it has torn across the pad where the boot bends. I do a lot of climbing on boom trucks, and my shop floor has a gritty texture. If the floor was smoother maybe this could have been a 1.5 year sole. The insoles in my boots usually just fall apart and I replace them with Dr. Scholls anyway. Shoe strings never did tear, and the hooks never broke. Which is surprising because my Redwings would break, since at 445 am I'm kinda rough with them. You won't be able to use these like a sledgehammer since the weight is lower, but these aren't made for that.If you have a boot allowance the price is perfect at around 175ish. My old Redwings were around the 300 range, and looking back on it now I should have been wearing these all along. If you can keep a reasonable amount of oil from covering them, they look pretty good. All in all for a work boot you can at least try them for the price, especially if you have a boot allowance. Get them, and enjoy a little comfort while you work.

Comfortable for construction too.
These are my 2nd pair of these boots. Being a welder I'm on my feet 8 to 12 hours a day. And these boots are perfect for it. Heavy duty but lighter weight. Rugged souls but not hard on the bottom of your feet. They are a great boot.

So far so good - Update after one year
Update:After a year of daily wear, I'm pleased to report that these work boots have held up exceptionally well. They continue to provide the same comfort and support that I initially praised. I've been using them at the power plant, where I walk on gravel, asphalt, and frequently climb stairs and ladders, and they've consistently offered a great sense of security.Regarding the minor issue with the laces coming undone easily, it seems that with more wear and usage, they have improved and now stay tight for longer periods. Additionally, the sole has proven to be durable, even through the cold months. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend these work boots. They have exceeded my expectations and have proven to be a reliable choice for daily use in demanding environments.Original review:I like how comfortable the work boots are. They have great support and are easy to fit into. I have been using it for about 2 weeks at the power plant and they have been holding up pretty well. I walk around on gravel, asphalt and go up stairs as well as ladders and they offer great support and good sense of security. I will update after 1 year which is the minimum I expect I this price point. One minor issue are the laces that tend to come undone easily. Maybe with more wear they will hold tight longer. Also, because of how little use I have given them, I’m not sure how the sole is gonna hold up, especially with the cold months coming soon. As I mentioned before, I will update once those concerns are addressed.

4 Months Later
I will begin by saying that these DO NOT fit like traditional work boots. They are rugged hiking boots to the core, I was first put off by the fit only because I was a 4 year Red Wings boot wearer. Anther note, DO NOT purchase them from Amazon, you will not save enough money in the process, even if you are a Prime member, to regret the boots and not have the ability to return them after wearing them for a few days. Purchasing from the Keen site directly gives you what looks to be a 90 day no questions asked return policy and the price is within 10ish dollars of Amazon. Also, have your foot sized, they seem run to the exact size of your foot. Now for brevity I will list pros and consPros: Awesome steel toe (left and right specific), tough rubber toe cap (should take a long while to wear through), *laces stay put! (also a con, more later), Light weight (my Red Wings were 2.5 lbs each, these are half that), Aggressive tread (grabs very well where my other boots would have slipped) Very water proof (was on a job that was a mud hole for weeks) Comfortable (my back would tell me otherwise very quickly) Fit well/feel good right out of the boxCons: Compared to traditional work boots, walking in them takes a day or so to get use to them. *They have a set of what I will call 'locking lace hooks' they will not let up if you tighten the laces too tight, I did tighten them much too tight (from how I tied my previous Red Wings) and my feet suffered much from that, on that note, tying them to a comfortable tension yielded a very good fit. The water proof lining tends toward not breathing well, could also tend toward getting hot on really hot days. Not resole-able (still a hiking style boot) The insole could be better but they haven't driven me to get new ones yet. Might replace them some day with the Red Wing insoles I liked so much. Realistically can't tell you if they are truly worth the money until I have been completely through them.I am in construction and have been for 14 years (framer for 14 and now an electrician) the pair of Red Wings I laud and mention in this review is an apple compared to the orange that the Keen boot is. They are just too different in fitment to say one is better than the other, so I can't and won't. I will say that I am walking all day (lots of varied uneven terrain)and up and down a ladder very much all day (electricians will understand) LIKE the Red Wings, or any boot for that matter, with these Keen boots I do not think about the boots, my feet, calves or back at all throughout the day, if I am not having to think about that stuff then in my opinion the boots are doing their job. I have put these boots through 10 hour days 6 days a week since first putting them on.Bottom line, I would recommend them to workers who are on there feet and on the move all day, but who also are brave enough to try something new AND different, as they are not your typical work boot. I will give them my full vote of confidence upon them lasting at least 2 years. We'll see! Hope this helped.

El antiderrapante y lo impermeable, si funcionan
Estos zapatos los usaré en zafra, y se que no me va a entrar agua a los pies y ni me voy a andar resbalando en el piso

Most Comfortable Boot I Have Worn Yet.
Redwing Wing Shooter (Iron Worker) boots were great - didn't need to break them in, worked 12 and 14 hour days with no issues. I thought they were the best.Scarpa Zanskar GTX hiking boots, fit perfect - wore them out of the box and went backpacking for 4 days. Got one blister but whatever, it was a hell of a slog.I bought these boots to try them out versus my current Irish Setter ELY 83400 go to work boots. What a surprise! They are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. Not fit in a store, no previous experience with Keen - no real reason for trying them out other than I saw them a lot while working on a cruise ship.I have been wearing them for a month (*In fairness - every other day - for about 10 years I always have 2 pairs of boots on the go so never wearing the same boots day after day). No issues, standing up well - never been wet (other than sweat).I will update on durability in the future.
