All's well that begins with Wells
A wonderful collection from the master. While the typesetting isn't exactly perfect, it's also no different than the font one would observe while reading their Kindle on their phone. So, the minor inconvenience (if that) aside, it's an excellent collector's edition box-set.

quality superb, the books are too small
the overall quality seems superb, but for my taste, they are way too small for comfortable reading.

Beautiful book set; cute books (size) but great set!
The Father of Science Fiction and his novels all in one great package! The books are small (they can fit on my hand; which isn't big) but I guess that just makes 'em more portable eh? I ordered the hardcovers so that's something to note. They have a nice fabric-y feel and a cool silver design. However, the decorative silver designs do tend to peel off fairly easily so just be mindful where or how you handle your books (for those who don't treat their belongings with enough respect already, then this shouldn't be an issue). The cool little box that they are stored in, to me, feels sturdy enough and has a fabric-y top and bottom. Treat the box (and books) well, and they will most definitely last you. I would recommend this box set to someone who loves all things sci-fi and wants to get back into books or is already into reading books. This would be a great starter.

Great stories, great set of books
I purchased this for my grandson. The stories are so creative and imaginative, written in the late 19th century, at the dawn of modern technology. Good service by the seller. Books arrived on time and securely packaged ,

Delicious little box set
I had never read H.G. Wells before buying this, and I started with The Invisible Man. I must say, I love his directness, and he has an almost meanness in the way he writes. It is very unique and almost modern, considering he wrote in the same time as say Bram Stoker. The Island of Doctor Moreau was absolutely chilling, yet something essential to my vocabulary now. I have not read them all yet, but I will say I love the size of the books (a bit larger than my hand) and the fabric covers give them a sturdy quality. The silver text on the front started to wear a bit, but I don't mind, it just shows that the book went with me everywhere (small size + excellent story). I would buy this for anyone wishing to build a library, or someone who is a fan of nineteenth century/Victorian literature.

Very well put together set
Impressive quality, pure white paper, as to the Wells - this is not about him - he's the best IMHO
