This product is something that I am so glad I got for my second child. It is calming and helps her settle at night and get quality deep sleep at night. I love the all 6 options for sound and that it includes a usb and timer function. There's a remote that's included which is really useful when the baby falls asleep and you want to sneak out of the room- just use the remote to turn the machine off after you walk out! This product is easy to use and is so portable any location(Even in the car). I would definitely recommend it.

My other white noise machine broke and I found that our 6 month old son was unable to sleep without some sort of sound in the room. I downloaded a few free apps on my phone, but they had a very electronic sound that did not help him sleep; and it obviously ran the battery down quickly. I bought two of these, one for myself and the other for a friend. We both love it! There's 6 different sounds to choose from, though I just keep mine on white noise. They all sound realistic too, not electronic like the phone apps. You are able to adjust the volume and it can get pretty loud, if that's something you'd need. There are also timers, but I haven't used those; There's a nice feature in that it can run on batteries or be plugged in using a usb, so it's easy to take with you wherever you need it. The best part is that it has a remote which controls almost all functions of the machine. Very light and small, so it doesn't take up much room and isn't an eyesore. Overall, great product and I would definitely buy again!

Received this sound machine in hopes of getting the little man to go to sleep. It's an awesome product that has helped our baby boy get to bed in a timely manner. We were currently on a road trip with our five month old and used this to help him sleep through most of the trip and especially in new environments. The mini remote control comes in handy when you want to turn off the sound machine from afar. Choice of battery operated or plug in, its great to use anywhere. The sounds of the ocean is our son's favorite and use this setting mostly. Having other sound options is great as we do plan to use this on upcoming camping trips. The only drawback for us was the dial, as we wanted to access the sounds right away but have to turn it several times to get the desired setting. Other than this, great product that I've suggested to friends over the Dohm machine.Update as of August 2019:We have gone through several of these sound machines and we had to update our post. We continue to purchase from this company because they have been great in replacing our broken ones. Though our recent purchase broke again so I'm debating emailing the company for a new one or buying from another brand. Will update once we figure out our next move.

I used this item plugged in to train my son to sleep heavier & to block out loud noises when he was sleeping. It worked great until now. I went to move the item on a trip and the part that you are supposed to plug into broke off inside the device. The batteries only last a few days, so this makes this item useless to me. So disappointed. I have only had the time since November of last year. Something made for children should be made a little more sturdy.I was then contacted by the seller promising to replace my broken item & refund the purchase price of the original if I was willing to take down my 1 star review. I agreed to the switch & the seller never followed through.

I wanted to love this! I was looking for a sound machine with white noise for my 4 month old baby -to drown out the racket my other kids make while she is trying to sleep. We have been using a fan, which works great but makes it too cold in her room sometimes. With my other kids we had a sleep sheep giraffe that was good but it shuts off after 45 minutes; I wanted something that would stay on all day and night if need be. I saw this one and thought it could do the trick since it has a start/stop as well as a timer and at 70 percent off it was worth a try. I should have known better. Here's my pro and con list:PROS1. Small and portable- easy to take with you anywhere. This is nice if you have a high maintenance baby (my 3rd child couldn't sleep without white noise)2. Battery powered (3 AAA for the unit, 2 AAA for the remote) or mini USB to charge (cable not included)3. Start/stop and timer4. RemoteCONS1. The sounds aren't great. There are six sounds: -a lullaby song -sounds like violins, but it reminds me of the songs they play on the merry go round at a carnival-Plain white noise- this is what I was buying it for but it is very rough sounding-I can only listen to it for a minute or so before it starts grating on my eardrums. It is really just static -just like on a walkie-talkie-White noise with heartbeat... The white noise is actually good- it makes kind of a "shhhhhhhhh" sound -much more soothing than the plain white noise -but it has a loud heartbeat over the top of it... And the heartbeat occasionally has an arrhythmia-another song - the song itself is actually quite pretty, but it sounds like it could be playing from a music box- it kind of has that metallic sound quality-ocean waves crashing - this one is ok, but sounds kind of staticky -especially on higher volume and gets worse the longer it's on-random bird/animal sounds - if you like the sound of birds chirping out your window, this one would be perfect.Bottom line...some people probably aren't bothered by any of these, but I couldn't sleep to any of these sounds, so I won't expect my baby to.2. Sound quality is not that great- the speaker could be better3. The blue "song menu" selector is hard to move and it clicks...not a big deal unless you turn it on in your baby's room as she's going to sleep and it starts out on the wrong sound...so you wrestle with it to get it to the right sound, all the while it is making a clicking racket, and waking baby up!I wish this had a better speaker and more different plain white noise options (since not everyone is going to like the same one) Unfortunately, as is I can't really use it. Luckily it was relatively cheap...Had I paid the list price, or even 1/2 price I would have felt totally ripped off.

This product seemed quite cheap for the price I paid for it and it would only turn off with the remote if it was directly pointed at the bottom of the sound machine. It did not meet my needs

Good product.. have been using for a year...but power connecting point stopped working after 4 months, so need to use batteries now

Had to send it back, the remote never worked

Its an amazing product does what it is supposed to

Love the remote feature. Not sure if it makes my son sleep longer but the sounds r peaceful n pleasant and my husband and I also sleep thru it.
