I picked these PINK shackles up for half the price as all the other colors. This is a great deal because I remove the paint anyway to inspect for cracks before after I needed to use them. Now if you wanted pink shackles, still a deal at half off.

I love the way these shackles look! They look better than the traditional rounded shackle and they are really good quality. They are a great value as they are as durable as those very high priced ones that shall not be named, but way less expensive! Highly recommend!

These things are heavy and I have no doubt they will work great. They do supply 8 shims to keep them tight on the mount. $ thin and 4 thick...I used a combo of thick and thin to get them tight so they don't constantly bang into my bumper. One of the pins already had powder coating coming off of it when I opened it, even though they are packed in bubble wrap bags...that tells me the powder coating is subpar and won't last when I start using them. Other than that they are fine...I'll have them professionally powder-coated this spring.

while i have not had a need to use these shackles yet, they are just what i was looking for to finish off the look of the front of my 4Runner.

They are heavy duty and look good.

Shackles looked good, but when I tried to unscrew the pin, both were seized. Had to use players and a screwdriver to get the bolt out as they would bind on one spot on the hole in the shackles. You could tell the spot by where the paint was scraped off on each turn. It is as if the bolt is bent.. but nothing obvious. Turning it in and out several times (with now just the screwdriver), did not help at all. I don't want to be mucking around in the field with extra needed tools (specifically - the screwdriver) when I need to use the shackles as fast as possible. Decided to grind out the hole a bit on each with a small rotary grinding tool. The hole (NOT the threaded end) is now somewhat oval/egg shaped and I'm not sure the 8T labelled strength would still be met, but for my purposes, think it will be ok. There is obviously no paint left on the grounded surfacesNot impressed.....UPDATE: APRIL 29, 2022.On noting the above 'less than positive' initial review, the seller quickly reached out and offered a new set of Shackles. Their response was more than kind, and I indeed received a new set from them today. The screw pin on these works PERFECTLY, with no binding whatsoever. Heavy duty, and should work great in the field.All I can say is great Customer Service and follow-up from them.I am now... MORE THAN PLEASED 'Out of the Box'!

Thought i saw a spring in the picture that doesn't appear to have come with these. These things are quite heavy, they look ok on my current bumper but thats going to be changed soon too. I'm pretty happy with my purchase.

Seem sturdy enough, to bad the red covering around the d ring, wasn’t a better rubber…sad no stickers came with it. But over all, id order again. See what they are like after I tow someone out.lol

Quality, durability and appearance are all 5 stars, its a great shackle, heavy and well built... my issue is with the paint... its clearly advertised as a bright, vibrant, deep orange.. the pair i received were at best, a light, dull orange... 2 stars because i have to buff off the paint and powder coat them myself now (not impressed)...

Honestly haven't used them yet. But they feel strong and don't seem to make any extra rattling noise while driving. The two different size garments made it easy to get the prefect fit. I used one of each size. The touch of colour was exactly what I was looking for.
