When I ordered these my workbench hadn't been built yet and if it had I think I would have gotten a little bigger size wheels but these are working fine. Photos attached
I bought these to use on a new work bench that I built. My work bench is about 80 inches long and about 33 inches wide and weighs about 200 lbs. When I ordered these my workbench hadn't been built yet and if it had I think I would have gotten a little bigger size wheels but these are working fine. Photos attached!I had my workbench in my driveway which slopes down about a 15 degree angle and had all 4 wheels locked and although the bench did not roll down the driveway I was still able to move my workbench around. So although the locked wheels do prevent my workbench from moving, I can still move the bench without much effort. This could be due to the size and weight of my bench. This doesn't really bother me too much as they still serve it's purpose and that is they allow me to move my bench around the garage without having to have another person help me lift the bench to move it. I am a little surprised on how easy they are though to still have the wheels turn when locked thus the 4 stars.

Good casters and good price.
These are good casters overall and I'm pleased with them and the price.I got them to use as for a TV stand a buddy and I built for our church. It needed to be movable and also to be secured in place because we bolted a donated plasma TV to the top. The TV weighs about 70 lbs and the stand another 40 or so.These are very smooth in operation in all aspects. They spin on their axis very smoothly with no bearing squeak, and they roll very well on hard and carpeted surfaces. All 4 have locks too.The grey rubber material is firm but a bit pliable too, which I see as a plus.I've been woodworking for about 45 years, do a lot of projects like this. These are among the better casters I've used and I'll buy more.

A decent set of casters for a great price
I used these on the bottom of a large bench. I needed to raise the bench slightly so decided to put it on casters to easily move it around when needed. Found this set and for a great price! No screws included but I found some at a local hardware store. Installation was fine and they roll fine, maybe a little too fine because even with the brakes on all of them the wheels still allowed the bench to move. Still a great buy and I like that the wheels are non marking.

Difficult to lock/unllock
These are really great low-profile casters. My only complaint is the stoppers are really difficult to push on and off (and on means stopper on, off means free rolling - FYI) I wish you could use your toe to flip them on and off, but instead you must really take the lever between your thumb and forefinger and really "switch" it on and off with all of your might. Shorry.

Just the right durometer/softness on the wheels - no marking, no skidding
These are a fantastic deal and considerable savings from buying local. My concern with buying on-line was not being able to feel the hardness of the wheels so here's some feedback for anyone with the same concern; these are not hard plastic but rubber-like. They roll great on hardwood without marking and do not skid so they rotate/change direction just like you'd expect. Be ready with some #12 or #10 wood screws to install.

Wheel still moves when break is locked
Did not work for what I needed. I ordered them for a podium that needed to be movable but the break did not completely lock the wheel and when I leaned on the podium it would still move making it unsafe in a public setting. I ended up ordering a completely different type of caster for this application.

Problems with swivel not working properly
I build wooden above ground and raised planters. I put these casters on a display model for the farmers market where I sell my planters. This planter only weighs about 40lbs. They look good & the locking mechanism works fine. Unfortunately one of the swiveling parts is no longer working properly not sure if it is a bad Bering or what. After only 5 months of light use I feel I cannot trust this product to sell to a customer when I guarantee my planters for 1+ years.

Good product.
Great price for a good product. I used them for a rolling work bench that I built. They seem heavy enough for a 6'x2' wooden bench. My only complaint would be that instead of all 4 swiveling and locking, it would be better if only 2 swiveled.
