McDavidWrist Brace, Adjustable Wrist Guard Support for Work to Help Prevent Wrist Injuries

Bought this as I broke my wrist and needed something to help keep the wrist in a neutral position. My activities include mountain biking, softball and weight lifting. I actually like this one better than some of the more expensive medical prescribed braces out there. However, the reader should know that you will not get an exact model of what shown in the picture... Just like others noted the cover at the very top of the brace is not there, what you actually see on the one you'll receive is the grey pad. This omission doesn't kill the rating, or effect how the device works, but it is pretty upsetting to receive something that's not like the picture shown.Note: although the brace comes with 2 soft pads allowing you to adjust how much pressure is required and how much backward movement is allowed in your wrist, depending on your activity, the edge of the pads (where they meet the top of your hand) can be a little hard/cause some irritation. My solution was to take a nail file and (ever so slightly) round off the edges - problem solved.

This is the only wrist brace I could find that supports the wrist to restrict wrist extension (pulling the back of the hand up from a palm-down position). Most braces seem to restrict wrist flexion. If you need restriction of extension, this is the brace to get.

Really helpful when playing football and thinking about getting another one for the other wrist.

My son wore his only one time during a game and the supportive foam fell out and was lost on the field. Waste of money.

Great brace. I play football and have frequent wrist problems from all the impact. As soon as I played with them I felt no impact in my wrist. Only complaint would be that it limits mobility of the wrist.

Great product. Provides adequate support, I am actually able to bench press with this brace on.The only thing I don’t like is the tight fit, even the the L/XL is too tight.
