There is a chemical smell that dissipates after a couple of days after unwrapping and I would suggest not using until then. Mine did come with a spare pillowcase.I have owned this wedge pillow for about a month now and have found it comfortable and supportive.

Trial and error with a few soft feather pillows over should do the trick and it will hopefully prove overall comfortable! The rake is fine, but very hard and as a one-off use on first night after delivery, I did find myself evolving into a degree of back pain, defeating purpose of the purchase! Nice to have a replacement cover.

I’ve only given 4 stars as when researching this product it stated came with spare cover, which it did not.Gives good support to neck and shoulders without head being too raised

Three stars is generous, this is very poor quality and extremely basic. As for the cover, it is awful. A paper base that is ripping already. I would have returned it but had just come home from major surgery and needed a pillow urgently.

These pillows provide firm support.If you want to keep your head and torso elevated a bit for better breathing, use one.and put your bed pillow on top of it.If you want to position your top leg firmly while sleeping on your side, use one with or without a softer pillow on top of it.Love these.
