Not great for resin polishing
I bought this product to compare directly to Flitz metal polish, both of which were recommended by Resin artists to polish resin. Hands down the Flitz was easier to use and produced a better finish. This product is very thick and grainy. Flitz is less grainy and held in a more liquid suspension.Yes there are no instructions with this product as some other reviewers have noted. The things I did like about this product were that it arrived in good time. The product comes in a series of small tubes so you can open them as you need them, and that keep the product fresh.I will continue to use up the supply i ordered and update my review if I get better results on other materials.

Directions would have been helpful.
I really wish this had come with some directions. The pastes were difficult to squeeze out of the tubes. Probably fine if you know what you’re doing but I would have liked a minimum amount of guidance.

Instructions?
The numbers on the labels are 0.5, 1, 1.5, 3.5, 7, 10, and 20. I don't know what that means, which one to use, how long to rub... no idea. I tried 0.5 and 20. Neither did anything. The 0.5 made my piece even cloudier. did not polish my resin in any way whatsoever.

With patience comes incomparable results
I'm in the process of using this product on a gift for a family member. Once finished, I'll upload a video slideshow containing each step of the process when completed to alleviate the confusion of it not coming with instructions. I think it's assumed that if you are buying a lapidary product instead of a polish that you understand what it is and how to use it. For now, step 1=10, 2=7, 3=5, 4=3.5, 5=2.5, 6=1, and 7=.5. The number on the tube represents the size of the particles contained in micrometers or microns.*edit* This is purple heart made into a chop stick to hold hair. Sanded to 800 on a belt sander, then 2500 by hand. I skipped the 10 micron paste due to it being more aggressive than the sandpaper, and forgot to take a picture of the 5 micron paste. The entire process was done in my drill, on the grain side of veg tan leather, at low speeds with less pressure as I got to finer grades. Like most polishes it takes practice to get the results you're looking for, however since they get so fine, you absolutely must ensure all previous scratches are removed with every step or they will show guaranteed. You also need to wipe the piece very clean between steps. They're diamonds, not aluminum oxide or any other standard media that break down. Any left over will continue to scratch just as deep wasting the next steps. I hope this helps.

Great for Watchmakers
I used these to polish a crystal on a very scratched 40 year old watch. It worked very well. I am happy with the results.
