RealtreeMen's Liner Sock

my son liked the quality of the sock but the thinness of it in his boot, he is serving in Iraq right now and other brands were making his feet to hot and causing them to sweat and have rashes, he requested me to find a thinner, mid calf black sock so we tried these, he loves them, said they are wearing nice, no blisters so far and his feet are much cooler. thank you so much!!!

Socks do just what I wanted them to do. They have some compression, however the main reason I got them for was to wear under wool socks while hunting. They allow moisture to escape through to the outer sock away from my feet that happens when your feet sweat while walking to the stand or putting out decoys, which prevents my feet getting cold while waiting on deer or ducks to show up. I wear a size 12 boot and they fit great. Cold feet will make you miserable and ruin a hunt, do yourself a favor and wick the moisture away and enjoy your time in the field or water.

I was expecting a liner sock to be like a thin dress sock but this was thicker than a regular cotton sock. One of the socks arrived stiff and moldy when I opened the package but I needed them as a base layer for a cold weather hunt and washed them. It was 30 degrees and I had a pair of wool socks over the top with 1200 gram boots. I didn’t really need the wool socks because my feet were sweating.Besides their crusty arrival, the socks were fantastic and feel great. I will order again.

I bought these socks as a last-ditch effort to stay warm on the job. Working on a solar field in the midwest over the winter I had pretty much decided my feet would always be cold. After a few excruciating days on frozen ground that the hot toes or insulated insoles could not touch, I decided to give these a try. They work great! I did not expect them to also have mild compression, but I like that about them. My feet sweat when hot AND when they’re cold, and these socks wick that right away. It is so strange having warm feet, but I do! I am so happy to have found these and will use them every winter going forward.

First, these are a little thicker than what I expected for liners. They are definitely a more heavy duty sock. However, they are made well and fit well, and make a great addition to your backpacking gear list if you are going out in cold weather. I don't see using these in the warmer times of year (we're in Texas), but these are perfect for Fall and Winter. I was looking for a warmer sock for camping and backpacking in colder settings, and these fit the bill better than I expected.If you are looking for liners for warmer outings, these may not be the right liners for you. You should definitely have some in your gear closet for those colder settings, but they aren't year-round gear.

These socks are great. In cold weather, I use them as a base layer to wick away moisture and in Florida I wear these alone in my snake boots as they are somewhat slick and my boots slide off much easier.

Really tight on my legs. But I'm Over wt. Have large calf muscles. They do work Have much better on the floor hours. My legs feel better after an 8 hr. Shift. But they are better than just regular socks. By far better.

Size fits as described, but not as comfortable as I expected for a liner.

I've been wearing Wigwam liner socks for 23 years but they've become increasingly more difficult to find so I branched out and boy and I glad I did. I wear liners daily as I value my comfort and prefer to avoid the perspiration related to feet stuck in shoes all day. For me, the thinner, the dryer and therefore warmer and more comfortable. Like Wigwam, these Realtree socks fit beautifully snug like a custom molded sock. They're thicker however, but that just makes them look and feel more durable. And for the price, even better! Terrific socks! FYI, Fox River are good too but they're even thinner than the two above if that's what you prefer. I'd imagine then that they'd come apart sooner though. And they're not as snug fitting. And they only come in white as I've noticed.

I use these with my insulated hunting boots, under a merino wool sock. They performed very well, but showed some minor signs of wear after several days of rough hiking.For my purposes and at the price point, they certainly do the job.

My husband loves these socks. He works for Canada Post and gets very warm and sweaty in his feet. This can cause a lot of blistering. He has found these socks are extremely breathable and wears them underneath cotton socks so that he can work his good solid 8 hours a day on his feet with a little sweating.They definitely fit true to your size. The color is great and easy to wash
