I've never done my own water testing before but this was easy. The instructions are pretty good. Had to read them a couple times to make sure I was doing it right. Most of the tests have instant results and then one has to sit for a couple days.

I got this because I kept seeing our water as a little yellow and it was freaking me out.This test showed there was nothing wrong with the water and -if anything- there may be a little rust in the pipes. But nothing to lose sleep over.The instructions are simple and the results are virtually instantaneous. Just follow the steps and you'll get the answers you need to see if there's a problem that needs to be addressed.

I can't know for sure, but it appears the tests work as they should. Some things to understand. You have to follow the instructions exactly. For the first 6 tests on on strip, the instructions end with you need to look at the first 4 results immediately. That means seconds. As I was lining up the results and writing down the findings, I took to long. I had some colors that didn't match anything. They provide two of these tests. So, on the second try. I looked IMMEDIATELY at all four results and the results made sense. The test result that seems to change the fastest is the pH color. So, I would start with matching up pH result first and then the other 3 results that require immediate views. After 30 second you match up the other 2 results on the same strip. So make sure you are ready before starting this test. The other tests worked as they should. I'm happy with this product and would recommend.

I've used this product about five times over the past two years, and it remains a great testing kit for my drinking water. Your results will depend on your ability to discern different shades of pink and blue and whether you've followed the directions or not. I've found the kit easy to use and I don't have any reason to stop using it.
