Fitted O-Ring Makes a Water Tight Seal
I used this to repair a broken wire pair on my pool salt chlorinator's flow sensor. I wanted to use a connector instead of splicing the broken wires so that I can easily connect and disconnect the flow sensor in the future. This connector seems to work well for this application. I simply spliced this connector into the wire at the existing break and screwed the two connector halves together to make the connection. The flow switch is located outside in the weather so the water proof connection was important. The build quality looks good to me and the connector seal looks to be water tight. If I have any water intrusion problems I will update my review.

Not a perfect fit
I am giving these extensions only 4 stars because they are nit a perfect fit to connect to lighting connectors the socket matches but the treaded cover is a bit large and there gore doesn’t screw diwn to make a watertight seal. I taped the connectors after installing

Necessary for extra length
These weren’t made for my rock lights but the fit together properly. The issue was the locking caps didn’t fit my end pieces so it attached them and applied heat shrink tubing to make them water tight. No issues and have had lots of rainstorms

I’ve purchased quite a few FVTLED products now, all great quality. These extension cables are no different.

Didn’t fit Xprite threaded connectors
These extension cords worked well with the Xprite kit but the threaded connectors did not work well with the factory connectors from Xprite. I had to tape them to ensure that they stay connected and water tight.

These work fine but ...
... I wish they offered another length to support non-metric spacing, such as 8 feet. I've got way more wire than I need and in my situation it's visible, hanging on a fence.

Don’t bother, just get better quality in the first instance with sufficient cabling. Buy these at your peril.
