We foster kittens for a local shelter and these springs have been amazing. Finding good and safe teething toys that kittens will actually use is pretty difficult. The springs have many different thicknesses so as the kittens grow they can use the thicker parts. It being freestanding means that they can always approach and bite unlike a simple chewstick that stays on the ground. It rolling around entices them to play with is also.Overall a great toy for kittens and our adult cats like them also

I have one kitty who absolutely loves the smaller, plastic springs so I thought I would try these since they are larger and less likely to get lost. However, they just don't do anything for her at all. They do seem well made and are a larger, easier to find size so I gave them four stars. Being larger, they are heavier and are not as easy for a kitty to fling up in the air or to carry around.

We originally purchased this because our one cat absolutely LOVES springs. The problem being that she constantly loses them underneath things in the house 🙃We purchased this and she hardly plays with it probably because it’s almost the same size as her. We’d totally be interested in buying more of smaller size (but not as small as most other springs sold here).Not deducting stars because of that though, it’s a great product and hasn’t been destroyed by the dogs at this point either (~3 months).

My cat loves this toy above all else even eating. I've had to buy many of these springs over the past few years in order to keep the cat happy and that is the rub against it. It breaks down too quickly. Easily by picking up grime and dust off the ground after usage (not easy to clean off) or by the cat chewing through the spring.I've been forced to buy these quite often. My cat will bring it to me to play their modified version of fetch.

I bought these for my 5 month old kitten. He is very playful and pounces all over the house! I am really pleased that I bought these as he plays with them until he drops. He gets them wrapped around his paw and they easily let loose. He bounces on them from all angles. The best thing is when he pounces on them they move and that makes them even more fun for him.These Categories Catty Coil Springs are made of a sturdy hard plastic inner and a felt like velvety outer. My teething kitty bites these and they remain undamaged.All in all, it is fun watching him pounce on these as they roll around the floor! My kitty recommends them!

Don't do it. The "springs" are brittle and they snap and break easily. They are not actual springs. They are a type of polymer resin. They only look like a spring. We have a kitten that uses her mouth to inspect things, and about 2 hours after giving her the springs I caught her playing with an inch long piece of one of them. My husband leaned over one of the springs that was on the couch and he crushed it. We threw them away, and I'm sure I'll be vacuuming up pieces for the next few days.The two star rating is because the springs are cute, and well packaged.

They are good quality, just the cats weren't very interested in them. They liked the "Ethical Pet Wide Durable Heavy Gauge Plastic Colorful Springs Cat Toy" much better. I think because these are felt material they don't roll as readily as the hard plastic springs.

Whatever it's made from, like a fuzzy felt coating on it, gets dirty fast. My cat doesn't car for it. She prefers the smaller springs not this larger one.

Not bouncy, cat has no interest in it.

Great toy - our kitty loves it, but not as much as the much smaller plastic springs. We're guessing the size might work better when he's fully grown.

Save your money and invest in the smaller plastic springs, my cats love the plastic springs, so I thought I'd invest in a larger one, waste of money, cats don't like it

my cat destroyed it in less than five minutes
