certainly not a heavy duty spinner, not sure how long it will last.frankly about the only reason I kept it was for the bowl.

great value here. The salad spinner works great, and to top it off you get a nice stainless all purpose bowl. both are a nice size so will fit nicely in cabinets. Id say you can fit enough salad in the spinner for 4 adults for dinner.

Does not work well at all. Very disappointed. Lettuce was still very wet not matter how many times I used it.

The media could not be loaded.  This salad spinner is a lid, bow and strainer bowl. The inner strainer bowl sits inside the bigger bowl and the lid fits onto the outer bowl. After spinning out the water you take off the lid and the inner bowl lifts right out leaving the water in the bigger bowl making it easy to dump out. The handle turns so easy that my 3 year old son helps us to turn the handle. It only takes a few seconds but it is a fun filled time and if we make a big salad he gets to do the spinning several times and that brings such a smile to his face. Please see video to see how easy the spinner is to use.I love this salad spinner because I no longer have soggy / watery salad, before using this spinner I would wash off my lettuce, roman, spinach and veggies and no matter how hard I tried I would end up with water in my salad bowl, yuck, especially if we had some left over that in the fridge it wouldn't last more than a day or two. After getting the salad spinner we now have salad that is dry and we can keep left overs for a week!

I bought this product at a discount for an honest review. We eat a lot of salads along with a lot of fruits and vegetables at our house. This spinner is perfect for loading up the greens! I then fill it with water and then add a fruit and vegetable rinse to the spinner. After 10 minutes, I dump the soapy water out and refill with clear water. I rinse the greens in the clear water, then dump that out. Next the lid is snapped in place and the spinner is activated. It gets a majority of the water off after the first spinning, but I repeat it one or two more times, dumping the excess water out each time. The greens can be dumped right into the stainless steel bowl that comes with the spinner. Very nice bowl that is non slip and has a rubber coated bottom. I can't believe the bowl actually comes with it! What a nice addition. Fruits can be placed in the spinner as well. I like putting blueberries or strawberries in there and rinse them to put on my cereal in the morning. When the package came, I removed the product box out of the mailer box and found a pretty blue cloth ribbon tied in a bow around the box. What a nice touch. I felt like I received a gift!

I am very happy I found this spinner. I have been looking for a few weeks now, and many were far too large or too small. This has been the perfect size for me. I am currently on a rather strict diet so I have been eating alot of lettace between meals. This was an issue prior to the purchase becuase washing and drying it was very time consuming. Now I just chop up the romaine, rinse and place into spinner.. spin and it is dry! Ready to eat. It also seals well and keeps in the fridge for up to 5 days!I also love the simple lever it has to spin, rather than a push type, I can control how fast I spin and it spins with ease.The size is just so great becuase it does not take up a whole selve in the fridge. I needs just a little more space than say a gallon of milk..Easy to clean, and has been an essential for my diet. Less prep time makes me more likely to eat healthy than crap for somthing easier to make :)I purchased this product for a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

This is a great salad spinner! Sturdy and I can tell I will have it for years to come. Shipping was pretty quick and it came with a cute little bow wrapped around it :) The additional stainless steel bowl is of really good quality I recently purchased a cheaper set and wow can you tell the difference from the weight to how it cleans up also the rubberized bottom will come in extremely handy. I would definatiley recommend this product to family and friends. I did receive a discount for my review this in no way affected my review of the product.
