I absolutely love these shorts! I was searching for a pair of shorts that were casual but also more versatile (not denim or active wear material) and these are perfect. As far as sizing goes, they do run a bit large, so if you want a more trim fit definitely size down. For reference, I'm 5'5", 143 lbs, and usually wear a size 6 in pants, jeans and shorts. I ordered a size 9 and honestly could have gone with a 7 for a more trim fit. But, I prefer a more relaxed fit (and hate "muffin top") so I kept the size 9. The waist is more of a low rise than mid or high, which I prefer with my more rectangular body shape. The length is short but still flattering. And, shipping was super fast on these. I received them the day after I ordered them! I'll definitely be ordering another pair.

these are extremely cute.i did exchange and order more.Trust me these fit sooooo big they have alot of stretch.I should of went with all the reviews that said size down.so I wear a 15 I went down to a 13 and there still a little big hoping when I wash them they will shrink some.

I have always liked Union Bay brand items and these don't disappoint! These shorts do run a little big, though. I got the size 7 in White and tried to exchange but they were sold out. I liked the White ones so much I went ahead and kept them and ordered a size 5 in a terrific color (it's like an ocean-y, grey/blue). Even the size 5's are a little big but these shorts are cut so cute I don't care. Maybe they'll shrink a bit?Love these shorts!

I haven't worn these out yet but just from trying them on they feel really comfy. They do have some stretch and what was surprising to me, my phone fits better in the front pocket than the back. (I have a Pixel 6)I would recommend getting these. I can't wait to wear them!

I remember wearing these in the 90’s in HS, and they still are great shorts. I’m 5’4, 135 pounds, and a 5 fit me perfect. They wash up great, and have the perfect amount of stretch. Was so excited to see these again, and will buy more colors!

I really like the odd number sizes. These shorts fit perfectly and are very comfortable. Material is strong and good value for the price.Note to Union Bay: please stop attaching your brand name in plastic on items. They are not good for the environment. If not for that these plastic attachments, shorts would get five stars.

These are really cute, comfy, actual low-rise shorts. The length is perfect but they do run big. I'm 67 inches tall, 123 pounds. I usually wear a 4 or 6. I ordered these in a 7 because they are junior sizes, but I definitely needed the 5.

I am 60 years of age and still can wear shorts and I love pockets with flaps in the back they help lift your. bum and give you roundness . These also have beautiful stretch but not to the point of leggings lol . I sized up also I got one pair at my size well let's put it this way ! I bought a size 7 they go on with no fuss but I. could go down but those days of tighter clothes not into it lol ... I also got a 9 why I have wide hips narrow legs but want the short to sit at 4 inches to really be flattering on my older legs . So both actually fit well I think once I wash the 9 they will fit just right for days I am moving around alot . I wonder if the 7 will shrink and not fit as well they are cotton mostly with the add blah blah for stretch . I am 5'5' 138 pounds . They are nice I was surprised . I always loved this brand but either they are to long or to short. I am not ready to wear peddle pushers 😉

I love these shorts so much I’ve purchased 3 of them now. They fit true to size, are soft and stretchy, just the right length (I like to roll them once) and no gapping in the waist at the back which I find a lot of shorts do. The waist is a tad bit loose on me but not enough to need a belt and only helps to not get muffin top. Well made and good material. I would recommend and have done so to a friend who has just bought a pair too.

Based on measurements, I'm supposed to be a size 11, but I realized it was way too stretchy so I sized down to a 9 and it was just the right amount of stretch. You can consider sizing down one or two sizes based on how form fitting you want it to be and how loose you want it to be around your thighs as well.
