Earthquake or an apocalypse? •Spoilers•
SPOILERSI was looking forward to reading this judging by the plotline. It started good, but within time I started to get an apocalyptic feel to it.Towards the end of the book Richard writes of innocent civilians being decapitated and having their scalps skinned off which doesn't seem believable after an earthquake. Why would anyone do that? Why would people in the book hide under cars waiting to attack innocent people who are just trying to get home? Where are the rest of the people, the emergency services, the government? Hence the apocalyptic feel.I couldn't wait to finish this book to be honest.3/10.

Argh just hung that picture...
Good creepy storyline. And why can't we have richter scale 11 earthquakes over here? Bit of excitement for a change. Not the usual boring UK humdrum...rail prices increasing...politician in Westminster stubs his toe...weather forecast for today is 23 variants of gray, with a definite shower over the pennines. Still be grateful we pay council tax which provides us with amenities such as street lighting...oh no sorry it doesn't oh

Good read!
Really good book to read and one of my favourite Laymon books. Bought to replace a worn out old copy.

Super stuff.
Lamon... what else is there to say. He is his usual graphic, relentless, self and very enjoyable. The Lamon books are the ones I love to re-read and never loan out. Pulp horror at it's best.
