The item arrived in perfect condition. It has a good weight and made with good standard. It is very easy to clean and has inspired me to paint more. I chose the bigger version because it allows me more space and I really like how it looks, even when it’s just sitting on the desk. It’s so much better than the cheaper plastic paint palettes which get stained by paint. Highly recommend!

This dish is only 11.5 cm (4.5”) across. But as the photo shows, it’s actually a good size and works well for my needs. The wet paint beads up on metal or plastic, but not this ceramic. It’s great for mixing colours and you can make quite a bit, like what you need for sky or ocean or grass. You can use it with pans or paint from tubes. There is a larger version, so you can choose the size. I totally recommend this.

Mixing watercolours is a completely different experience with this lovely ceramic palette than with plastic. No pooling or staining and I can see far more clearly the colour I have achieved. I bought the smaller palette, but alongside the 17 section rectangular one, also by Meeden, giving me plenty of space, and the smaller one is ideal if I need to take it out and about. Definitely worth the extra investment!

I really liked the palette. It is big enough and also it is very heavy-duty. The porcelain is thick enough so I am not worried that it is going to easily break in case I accidentally drop it on my laminated floor. I have been looking for such a palette for a long time and I am really glad I purchased this one. It is very easy to clean as well.

After a long search, I am happy with this palette. Its strong and sturdy and the right size, the buckets are not too cramped up.

A good quality, sturdy product, and so much better for mixing watercolour paints than plastic palettes. The paint collects in one pool instead of several little blobs, which occurs with plastic versions. With its' nine compartments it's far better than making do with a porcelain dinner/side plate. It is ideal for use in the studio but I feel it would be a bit heavy holding it for any length of time, out in the field. The palette cleans up beautifully when washed without leaving any staining, which is another drawback with plastic palettes.

This little palette is a joy to use. The paint flows well, it's super easy to clean without any trace of paint, and its size is perfect for taking it everywhere.
