DIMEXLow Pile Carpet Office Mat Chair Mat, 45" x 53" (C521003G)

This is made out of recycle plastic here in the US. Since this is not a hard plastic mat, although it is designed for carpeted floor surfaces, however, I guess this is more suited to not so fluffy type of carpet floor. I am using this to an old carpet floor where I am planning to replace with wood later on. I bought a new chair for my home office and the wheels go deeper on the carpet floor. With this mat, it provides ease of moving the chair while sitting on it. Considering its price, its well made and works well.

I use this in my medium pile home office and have a 5 leg roll around standard desk chair. Works well. If I sit in one spot for a long time, it will 'divot' where the wheels go requiring a slight push to move (which actually helps hold the chair in place), but once I roll to another spot, those recover back to level. No cracking or other problems after over a year of use

I was happy to find this office mat for low carpet at a reasonable price. Other places were charging 5 times the amount for the same product. The mat arrived on time and in great shape. I am happy with it and would recommend it to others.

I've had this item for a little over a week now and so far, I can say that it works really well with extremely heavy office chairs. It has very sturdy spikes that help grip to low pile carpets. My chair is very heavy and the wheels leave dent marks on the mat. Although, this goes away after a few hours once you roll the chair to a different position. It's quite heavy and curls on the end after initially unpacking it. However, I just set some weights on the corners and it's fully flat now. Overall, 5 stars. Does the job. I will update this comment in the future if I notice cracking.
