These are fantastic for when you need to memorize a lot of small bits of information. They are so much easier to carry around than big, clunky flash cards (for those of us who don't want to use digital study aids), and the metal ring keeps them all together. I used them in a previous course to study the Latin names of plants, and now I'm using them to memorize the prefixes, suffixes, and root words of medical terminology. Easy to pull out of my purse to study when I'm waiting for the kids at lessons, in a doctor's waiting room, wherever. Lined on one side, blank on the other. I could also see children using these to study phonics, spelling, vocabulary words, foreign language vocabulary, even math facts. The small size is perfect if you only need to write a few words, and perfect for little hands. I think they're a bargain-- four packs of 50 cards with 4 rings. Great study aid!

I use these for all sorts of brief notes and short lists. The Deflecto business card holder is the perfect size for them. It holds about two dozen cards.
