Nonstick cups are a nice feature, but I still butter or spray them to aid in easy release. Pan works great and is easy to use. Cleans up nicely.

I like this thing if you’d like to make poached eggs like G Ramsey this is the closest thing to it for the money there is a learning curve but less than a dozen eggs you should be a pro so first off start by removing the little handles which slip right off and you can store in the drawer make sure to use nonstick or they will not fall out once they’re done also load the eggs in the cups outside of the pot do not try to crack the eggs well in the tray over the hot water do it outside and then easily grab the tray in the center handle with the eggs loaded and then safely lower them down into the boiling water stay at medium heat with the water for the best results I found that helps to cook the eggs evenly I have experimented with 3 to 4 minutes covered then I’ll remove the tray from the center handle with a oven mitt or a glove and then just set the whole tray on a cutting board I found that if you let them sit for about a minute or so you can carefully grab the lips of the cups with your hands but test cautiously before you commit and basically after letting them cool in the tray for one minute I found that helps to make them not too liquidy once you do that you can literally flip them over on your toast and they should fall right out but remember once you pull them out of the boiling water in the tray The trick is to let them keep cooling on the tray for about one minute because they’re actually still cooking which helps with the perfect egg and not to much of the clear raw yolk I love this thing I’m glad I bought it nothing like a poached egg over toast

I'm not really happy with this egg poacher. I wish could find one like what my mother had. Stainless steel body and lid but the insert of where the trays sit, the holes were bigger with bigger trays. They too were Teflon. This egg poacher does the job of poaching the eggs but trays are smaller and don't sit well in the holes. It's hard for me to return this product back as there is no Amazon drop off center.

This poaches my eggs more quickly than my old poacher because less steam escapes. I read one review that said the top didn't fit with all four egg containers but mine fits perfectly, so I suspect it was defective and should have been returned. Great value for money!!!!
