is my new favorite! I am so happy with this purchase
My daughter is 6, and has hypotonia. She is also left handed, but with left-sided weakness. This has made cutting in Kindergarten a very difficult task. If you check my other reviews, you'll see when been through 3 other pairs of special needs scissors so far this year, each with less than stellar results for various reasons. This pair, however, is my new favorite! I am so happy with this purchase!! I finally found a pair that is meeting all of her needs. The blades work well, and require significantly less hand strength to operate than any other pair we've tried. This is hugely important to us particularly because she would fatigue so quickly with her old scissors. I am so glad the blades are set correctly for a lefty as well, it makes it easier for her to follow the lines and cut without tearing the paper. They are also smaller than the yellow loop scissors we purchased, which is helpful because she has dwarfism and her hands are very small for her age. Overall, I highly recommend these scissors!!

WOW. Super for LEFTY with sore hands!
So easy to use, WOW! We tried them out and I never imagined scissors could be so easy to use, they require almost no pressure to cut. Can't wait to give them to my lefty mom with arthritis. Am sure she will love them.

Easy to use lefty scissors
My son has a difficult time using scissors due to a neuromuscular issue. We have tried many different sets of left handed scissors. By far these are the ones that he does best with. His occupational therapist wanted to know where we got these from.

Two Stars
Left handed scissors are rare. These don't work very well. I didn't realize they are designed for children.
