After taking a look at the options, we decided to try the Peaceful Squirrel Variety, Breakfast Snacks To-Go Curated Snack Box, Hand Selection of Your Favorite Premium Breakfast Bites, Custom Variety, 20-Piece Premium Morning Snack Box to see if there were any quality snacks out there that we hadn't tried and would like to start buying for breakfasts and snack breaks.It is a great way to try a variety of different things, without buying twenty BOXES of different snacks, and throwing some of them out and paying a small fortune. This way, you get one sample of twenty different things that you can evaluate.There were quite a few winners in our box! I would caution you that the contents change regularly and we did not get some of the things (that I wanted!!!) that were pictured in the description, but there was almost nothing that we thought was outright bad.I will note a few of our favorites as best I can from memory...My kids liked the Legendary Foods Tasty Pastry (pop tart), I don't think we got the One Brand Pastry Bar (donut - that's the one I wanted!) They loved the Fruit Leather, the Chia Squeeze (?!?!) and the That's It Fruit Bar.I loved the RipVan Stroopwafel - a caramel-filled waffle that is great microwaved for 10-15 seconds so the caramel melts a little.I also very much enjoyed the Natures Bakery Oatmeal Crumble and Natures Bakery Fig Bar and Good To Go Baked Bar (almond and vanilla).Honestly, the only thing that didn't get rave reviews from someone was the Clif Coffee Bar and I think that is just because none of us are huge Coffee fans. We have other Clif Bars in the house that we love, like the icing and oatmeal raisin so it isn't the Clif Bar's fault, just not our flavor.I definitely recommend this for several situations.A bed and breakfast or Air BnB where you want to leave snacks for guests;A way to try different healthy snacks without spending a fortune on boxes and boxes of snacks;A way to change things up so you don't get into a rut with healthy snacks;or just a fun way to try a bunch of new treats!Definitely a great gift for someone too - a housewarming or apartment warming gift. A wedding gift... I could go on. Mostly, I'm going to go on back downstairs and try some more of these treats before they get gone!!! This was a different sort of purchase for my family, but I think we will do this again! It was fun and it helped us find some new healthy snack alternatives.Thank you for reading my review. This box was so good that I bought a second box and gifted it!The goodies come in a sturdy orange cardboard box. Inside the box are all the goodies and a reusable bag - a little on the small side to use as a grocery bag but, still, it might come in handy.EXPIRATION DATES: Upon receipt of the box, the expiration dates gave me 6-12 months to eat the goodies - like they'll last that long. 🙄INGREDIENTS: All high quality ingredients. Lots of organic stuff. Lots of keto friendly things. No nasty faux-sugar in the whole box! I do not like "0 calorie" sugar substitutes as they all taste gross and are unhealthy. I was so happy that none of these items had any of that garbage. Of course, these things are not low calorie either but they are reasonable, they fit fine in a good balanced diet.VARIETY: I can't say I loved every single item, but I loved *trying* every single item. I discovered some breakfast items/snacks that are delicious that I didn't know existed. I discovered some items that I didn't care for. Getting to try it all made the box delightful - now I know what I like, what I don't care and what to look for when I'm shopping.GIFTABLE: YES - so giftable! The nice orange box and bag with fun squirrels and high quality treats make this item an excellent gift!

When I received this box, it had a freshness date of October 2021. Please verify. All of the items in the box had expired last year, except two.

It's a great idea to send that relative off to college or their first apartment a gift package full of different treats, except these are all healthy treats. All of them. I will say the Kodiak oatmeal was outstanding and I will be buying that again. The two smoothies tasted like medicine and the Mamma Chia when I twisted it open spewed all over my work clothes and my office floor. The Legendary pop-tart and the Rip Van wafel fell far short of the real thing. The Fig Bar looked delicious and wasn't. The Made Good products are decent tasting as well as the Whenever bar but I wouldn't buy them again. The GOOD TO GO vanilla almond soft baked treat was AMAZING - I would buy them by the dozen.

This Peaceful Squirrel Breakfast Box arrived when my nieces and boys had dropped over. Talk about squirrels to nuts - they spent 20 minutes pawing through the contents, picking, trading then changing their minds. It was a lot of fun and in the end, they all found a couple of items that "suited them".The box is chock full of treats - intended for breakfasts but perfect for anytime snacks. There's oatmeal, bars, fruit leather, and smoothies in a tube. There are NO DUPLICATES to act as filler. I'm going to take the time to list each item so you can see this is not dollar store snacks - only top-of-the-line items.
