You have to love escargot. It is not for everyone. I stuff the shells and freeze them. I broil them and serve them with at cocktail time. Delicious.

We served these at as part of a tasting menu for a group of young adults half of who were our grand children. The product was excellent. I rated flavor as average because the flavor of this dish is controlled by the treatment given to it by the chef.

The media could not be loaded. I was really looking forward to receiving this. We needed it for a themed party we were having for the Olympics. Went to open the can and realized that it was not sealed properly. Then found out it couldn’t be returned because of food, safety reasons. I understand cans can get damaged, and it’s probably not very common. But disappointing that I can’t be returned.

Lived in Paris for a couple of years when I was a bit younger. This was when I learned to love French cuisine and these really took me back to the good old days. Can’t wait to do them again!

Perfect for construction of garlic butter escargot in shells. Shells large and pretty. Snails fit in shells easily.

Unfortunately, the snails arrived in a small can, but the shells were not with them. I am very disappointed with this item.

This was a gift.
