This is an update to the review I wrote the first day I had it. I gave it 5 stars. Today, after one week, I change that to one star.The mesh screen on the inside rolled up. As I washed out the filter, I didn't see the edge of the mesh, and it sliced my finger. So much for well made. It made great coffee, but I prefer my digits intact.Original review:We bought this filter to have an ultra portable method of making great coffee while traveling, and we couldn't be happier. It's solid, well made, and the coffee is excellent. The mesh is fine enough that there are no grounds and little residue in the cup. An excellent purchase.

I've had this for several months now and it works great. I love that it's all stainless steel, except for the little rubber handle that occasionally slips off. The base is very handy for placing over a jar or cup. The fine double mesh layer is useful for much more than just dripping coffee. I use it to drip whey from yogurt and strain out the buttermilk from freshly made butter among other things. The only thing I would like to see changed is a curved handle added over the top of the cone to allow for a better grip.

I bought this coffee filter because of the price and the reviews were "OK". All it does is waste coffee because of the it drips it through way too fast and produces a weak, bland cup of coffee. I tried using paper filters but that didn't even solve this problem. I threw it away. Spend the extra money and buy a ceramic dripper instead. This one is totally useless.

As others have reported, the screen rolls up after some use. Unfortunately, it is beyond the 30 day return period and is now a complete waste of money. I think we'll be more selective with what we buy on Amazon from here out. Take a pass on this item.

I have been looking (halfheartedly I might add) for a single cup cone for a long time. Since I have been using this it has made my morning routine so much easier. Heavy stainless steel, works great, and should last a long time. Very pleased. Only thing that could make this perfect is if it were made in the U.S.

Husband uses this often on the weekends for a single cup of coffee. Works well.

This thing works really good. After I took one sip of coffee using this, I knew I'd never want to go back to a coffeepot. I like to get the water as hot as possible without actually boiling it. It don't taste burned to me. I do pour the water real slow.

Makes a weak cup of coffee. I really don't like this.
