Ann is a sweetie!
I have green-eyed brunette Ann - I just purchased her from Herbie's - what a fabulous seller! She is adorable and, I recommend her - she is a bit large for a small child, but she is a collectors' dream. Interestingly enough, on many of the stock pictures of Ann, her bangs look thin and wispy, and they are not! They are thick and full and are not above her brows - I detest that in dolls - I constantly have to pull My Twinn wigs to move them forward because they tend to come with Mamie Eisenhower bangs. Ann's hair is absolutely perfect - a ginger brown. Her green eyes are gorgeous and her upper and lower lashes are perfect. Here are some things to know about Ann:1. She does not have wrist joints, like the larger Monika Peter-Leicht dolls. I was disappointed by that, because I wanted to pose her her at my piano. I did take a photo of her at the piano, and posted it with my review, but when I edited my review, I wasn't able to re-attach the photo.2. Her hip joints do not allow her legs to open; she can bend her knees, but you can't, for example, pose her cross-legged.3. She arrives without underwear!I love her, though! I bonded with her immediately. She came very well packed - her entire body was wrapped in tissue paper and there were sturdy styrofoam pieces stabilizing her. I have never received a doll so carefully packaged. Her wig is beautiful and her face is very sweet. Please know that if you want to buy her children's boots, she won't be able to wear the OshKosh ones at Target, which only go up to size 5. Her little calves are chubby.Her outfit is adorable and beautifully made. Her shoes and hairband coordinate with her top. I named my Ann "Anna Laura" so I could call her "Annie Laurie" as a nickname.I took her measurements: Masterpiece Ann's measurements: Feet: 5" - I would buy size 6 shoes-Circumference of widest part of calf: 9" but allow for 10" in bootsWaist: 19" Hips: 21" Arms: 11" Shoulder to knee" 15"Allow for 27" around body for topNeckline to waist: 9"Height is closer to 33."
