The mouse is solid for the price. it has a multitude of action buttons and it looks cool as hell but beyond the look and feel of the thing I started encountering issues with it almost immediately.the first issue that I had with it was the scroll wheel. the wheel is by far the worst quality of the mouse. It gives an unnatural and cheap-feeling resistance when scrolling backwards that makes me think something is broken with it and makes me cringe whenever I scroll backwards.The second issue is a purely cosmetic one. The mouse comes with software to control action buttons and also the color of the lights in the mouse itself. At first glance the application seems remarkably easy to use and quick to install but after tinkering with some settings, I went to adjust the RGB values of the color for the mouse and no matter what color I changed it to, the mouse would remain green. I found this the case with many other points within the application such as DPI movement speed as well. I would make the adjustment, hit "apply" and then nothing would happen. Some settings required me to hit apply a dozen times before it changed at all, while my mouse continues to glow green despite me setting it to red.These negatives about the mouse does not detract however from the obvious aesthetic appeal of the mouse. It comes with a quality woven fiber cord with decent length and it looks impressive when lit up. the clicking feeling on the left and right mouse buttons as well as the action buttons is quite good, and it glides like a pro over a decent mouse-pad.I originally gave this review 3 stars because of the issues I was having with it, but then thought of the price and bumped it up a star. It's a great value mouse and would be a good buy for new gamers. I think that with the price, many of it's faults can be forgiven but I would definitely read into many more reviews before buying this one just on the look of it.

Why is it that gaming mice can't just replicate mouse buttons? I like 8-button mice, but the office mice with 8 buttons are expensive, and these gaming mice are fairly cheap and have all kinds of adjustable programmable features, but none of them are to just replicate additional mouse buttons. Since I use a mouse with multiple programs, I can't just set the mouse to the same keystroke replication for each program.So, this light be OK for gaming, but no good for office work.

The Combaterwing 4800 DPI Gaming Mouse is honestly one of the most amazing Gaming Mice I have ever purchased. I really enjoy using it and it has thoroughly improved my gaming experience. I've used it constantly for almost two weeks now. If you're expecting a highly critical review, you will not find one here, only because I couldn't find anything that I didn't like about the mouse. Here are some of my thoughts as to why this mouse is really awesome. I've also included some pictures of the mouse as well.Design: 10/10The Combaterwing 4800 DPI Gaming Mouse has an awesome design to it. It has a very robust, mechanical feel to it. This can be evident from the all of the metal gears and springs visible by just looking at the inside of the mouse. It looks like a freaking transformer! Despite its somewhat overwhelming design, it proved to be very comfortable. I can say that after long hours of continuous usage, my hand did not tire out from using it, nor did it cramp up in any way. It fit my hand almost perfectly. The double-click button is placed in a somewhat difficult position. Compared to the Marvo M315 Gaming Mouse, it makes the double click button sort of awkward to use. The icing onthe cake for this mouse would have to be the backlighting feature. It has a backlighting feature that really brings a whole new dimension to gaming. I like how the backlighting actually changes color based on the DPI setting. The breathing effect on It really adds to its beauty, lighting up everything including the signature Combaterwing logo that I like so much. The lighting is more controlled and it just has a better feel to other gaming mice.Functionality: 10/10Not much to say here. All of the buttons seem to work just as expected. The double-click button really helps with different aspects of gameplay and works like a charm. The scrolling wheel is at the perfect sensitivity for me. The DPI settings are quick and easy to change, the DPI being extremely high. It has a very fast response and it suits almost any type of game, whether it is an FPS, MOBA, MMO, you name it.I had high expectations for this Gamming Mouse but, I had not expected THIS much quality. Both its design and functionality are at its peak and, in fact, compliment one another quite nicely. I really like this high-quality mouse and would recommend it to any hardcore or casual gamer.I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest evaluation of it.
