Oil it right away!
It's got a raised and padded browband and caveson. I couldn't tell that from the pics.The leather was a bit stiff, but that is normal: oil it right away!I have a Belgian draft, and I ordered XL size. I wasn't sure if this would fit because she is so big, but it does.I had been riding with a bitless side pull bridle, but wanted a little more control. This bridle does that! The reins crisscross under the jaw.The leather softens up nicely after oiling. Also, be sure you oil the underside real well, it makes a difference in longevity.Would I buy this again? Absolutely!

Bitless bridle at work
I chose this rating because of the genuine leather and the response it gave my horse.seem to obey all command by voice and light pressure.its great if you have not had a bit in your horses mouth for a while

I punched my own holes to fit my appaloosa, works great. Looks great. Draft horse size is accurate
