Ello Syndicate Glass Water Bottle

This is my 3rd purchase of this item. I love it. Water tasted best when in glass. The nice silicon cover prevents breakage and is a great hand grip as well. A bonus is that the cap has a lock on it, so it it’s dropped, it won’t pop open and spill your drink. No plastic parts touch your drink. There is a silicon seal in the lid. Excellent product!

I love this water bottle. The glass feels clean and doesn’t give my water any weird taste, and the silicone sleeve makes it easy to carry without feeling like I’m going to drop it. The flip lid is super convenient, especially when I’m on the go or at the gym, and I like how it locks. It’s cute, simple, and just feels way nicer than a plastic bottle. Definitely one of my favorite everyday bottles now, especially for work, where I’m required to have a clear water bottle. It’s not too big and I’ve dropped it before and it didn’t break.

These are fabulous!! I have accidentally dropped and the glass did not brake as many probably think would happen … the plastic top did ;( still useable !!

Since it's glass, there aren't any lingering odors, discoloration, or residues from drinks. It's fairly heavy when filled with water - too heavy for me to take it on a walk and hold (I'm a fit man with average hands). The silicone is grippy all the time. ONE ISSUE: The hinge pin that holds the lid onto the bottle slowly slides its way out over a couple days, so you need to push it back in flush with your fingernail, which is easy and has little resistance; just an annoyance. It's a product design flaw, not just my bottle.

Well built. It even locks.

I ordered this bottle after realizing I drink more throughout the day if it's in a smaller bottle. The 20oz is perfect. I ordered glass because I believe it's healthier. It is all glass even where your mouth drinks, the part that deals the top is a silicone. The lid locks so if you throw it in a work bag in don't open or leak. I love this bottle and will definitely buy again if I ever need a new one.

This bottle is thick, heavy glass. The glass is slightly frosted on the neck but is smooth. The bottle mouth is wide enough to take ice cubes, but realize there is no insulation, so it's just like putting ice in a glass. The wide mouth does make drinking while jogging difficult, but it can sort-of be done by pressing your upper lip against the top of the mouth. The top opens with a satisfying, perhaps addictive pop. There is a tight seal and the top may need to be manually opened after a airline flight. Self-opening of the top is powered by a crushed silicone o-ring. Unfortunately, my ring has split in half and is danger of coming off, but still works. The safety lock works and the bottle doesn't leak when closed. Since it's glass, there is no danger of any taste or odor remaining from prior use, or of any dangerous chemicals leaching out of plastic. (Though the plastics industry says BPA-free plastics are safe, there are some reports claiming otherwise. I'm undecided.) The top is sealed with a silicone disc that doesn't touch the water when upright. However, if you're that concerned, you need to consider the source of your water. This bottle is thin, which means it will fit in almost any cup holder or side pocket, but it's tall - 2 3/4 x 10 inches.

I had an Ello water bottle that looked very similar to this which I loved. But the part of the bottle where you put your mouth to drink was rubber. That rubber would get moldy over time, no matter how much I washed it. I eventually threw the lid away and ordered a replacement. No matter how frequently I washed the new one, no matter how hard I scrubbed, the dark mold would started to appear over time just like it had on the previous lid. So I went to order another replacement lid and found out there were none available because Ello had changed the design. Still loving the look of Ello bottles and the flip top lid feature, I ordered a new bottle . I was thrilled to find that the rubber (which is necessary for leak prevention) is now at the top of the lid and the part you drink out of is now glass. I have been using this bottle for several months and there are zero cleaning issues. That problem must have been a common one for Ello to change the design. Which means they are a company that listens to concerns and works at putting out a great product.

Excelente material, diseño y tamaño, al estar cubierto el vidrio aunque se caiga resiste el golpe, hasta ahora a pesar de las caídas no se me ha roto, y es muy práctico para llevar a todos lados.

capienza 650, dimensioni ridotte, peso non eccessivo per una bottiglia di vetro, dopo un mese di utilizzo nessun problema, la parte superiore del coperchio si svita quindi la pulizia è facile.. buon prodotto l'hanno preso anche tutti i miei colleghi in ufficio.

Die Flasche sieht gut und stabil aus. Das Silikon schützt die Flasche von allen Seiten, auch den Boden. Die Flasche hält wirklich dicht und lässt sich sehr leicht öffnen und schließen, durch Klickverschluss am Deckel. Als großer Vorteil sehe ich, dass man direkt aus der Glasflasche trinkt und nicht aus Plastik/Silikondeckel. Aber dass ich auch ein bisschen nachteilhaft, da der Flaschenhals eng ist (Ø4cm) und man beim Auffüllen aufpassen muss. bin super zufrieden mit der trinkflasche😊 benutze sie zum sport & zum arbeiten...nur vorsicht: bei kohlensäurehaltigen getränken läuft sie leider aus,aber das ist ja normal😊 ansonsten suuper

Love this glass water bottle. Glad to have made the switch from plastic! It is sturdy and not too heavy, great for carrying around in my bag. It also fits in my car's drink holder. Fills about shy of 3 cups. Handles hot temperatures and cold temperatures very well as it is glass obviously. Silicone sleeve is pretty and looks fancy, haven't tried cleaning it but doesn't seem to get dirty very easily. A good wipe with a warm damp cloth seems to do the trick so far ! :)
