It kills me to write a bad review for this
It kills me to write a bad review for this. I love Warhol, and have pretty much read everything I can on him. He also Warhol all wrong. I won't even go into details on that, because it would anger me all over again. Nick claims that not all the facts are accurate even. I'm not sure why you'd write anything biographical and not have it as accurate as possible. I shudder to think if this is someone's introduction to Warhol. They'd have completely the wrong picture of him. I'm giving it two stars instead of one, because the artwork is really great. That is this books saving grace. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, though, sadly.

Fascinating Story with Excellent Illustrations
This is a beautifully illustrated book with an insightful storyline. Anyone interested in Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, or anything that has to do with the mercurials 60s and 70s should give this book a look. The illustrations bring the story to life.I also appreciated the insight into Warhol's early life, of which I had no knowledge.Recommend!
