Thank you
It arrived on time! And I was able to do my assignment for class. The email notification was the best part of the experience. I was informed where my package was every step of the way

Works well with euphonium/baritone
Fit my daughter's euphonium/baritone perfectly, and not too expensive to have handy as a spare.

A Better Bach than Bach for a much lower price
This is the best version of a popular trombone mouthpiece (for younger players and some jazz lead players), better and substantially less expensive than the name brand Bach Small Shank Trombone Mouthpiece Silver 12C The story goes that the man who later founded the Faxx brand helped Vincent Bach move his operation from Mt Vernon, NY, to Elkhart, IN, back in the mid-60s when Selmer bought the Bach company. In appreciation for the help, Vincent Bach gave the man an original Mt Vernon lathe, and it is on that lathe that the Faxx mouthpieces are made - to the original Mt Vernon specs, unlike the present day Bach mouthpieces, which have changed significantly, and not for the better.See my review of the (misnamed)Faxx Bass Trombone 65al With Long Shank for a discussion of the differences in that model with the Bach. I have not compared the 12C Faxx and Bach as much, directly, but I have used the 12C with elementary age and younger middle school students with excellent results. The downside of Faxx brands is that they are available only in the most popular sizes. For trombone, that means (listed from smallest to largest rim) for small shank: 12C, 7C, 6 1/2 AL; for large shank: 6 1/2 AL, 5G, 4G, 1 1/2 G. (Only the last is a real bass trombone size, although are probably a few tenor-to-bass doublers around making do with a 4G on bass.)I was concerned when I heard that the Faxx founder passed away a few years ago and the company was sold, but all the Faxx mouthpieces that I have seen since then, so far, have kept up the high standard.Highly recommended by a professional trombonist and private teacher for 40 years.

Like a Bach 12C but a lot cheaper
I have found no problems using this mouthpiece and changing over from a Bach 12C. It feels just as good and sounds just as good on all my trombones.
