Q: Does the wood catch on fire?

No. I guess it could if you left it in the fire for a really long time.

Q: How long does it take to make a Wolf'em?

We have found that it takes approximately 4-6 minutes to make a Wolf'em if you are baking the Wolf'em over campfire coals. Propane stoves tend to take a little longer. We have also made Wolf'ems over our kitchen stove (electric and gas) and found it also takes just over 4 minutes.

Q: Does the dough stick to the wooden cooking form?

No . . . We use a non-stick cooking spray each time we use our Wolf'em Stick. Simply spray a small amount of cooking spray on the wooden cooking form and then apply the biscuit dough. We have also found that the dough works best if chilled - not warm when making our Wolf'ems.

Q: Does the wooden cooking form catch on fire?

Not usually. The wood form is lightly oiled before you put the biscuit dough on to cook it. The dough protects the form from flame or heat. However, if the dough slides off into the fire (too much oil) and is not noticed, the form could be charred.
